When movies, TV, and music are your passion — you don’t want to just watch. That’s why there’s the Bose Smart Soundbar with shockingly immersive sound for its size. Dolby Atmos, proprietary TrueSpace technology, and upward firing transducers work together to intelligently analyze and separate instruments, dialogue, and effects, then place them throughout the room. Even overhead. It’s a captivating sound experience that goes beyond simply watching. A.I. Dialogue Mode automatically balances voice and surround sound for ultra-crisp vocal clarity.
Having a hard time hearing what your favorite characters are saying? A.I. Dialogue Mode balances voice and surround sound for ultra-crisp vocal clarity. Watching an action movie? A.I. Dialogue Mode enhances the clarity of conversations while ensuring the roaring engines don’t drown out what’s important.
Dolby Atmos is great for elevating the sound experience of certain movies and TV. But most content isn’t Atmos-encoded. For full immersion all the time, there’s Bose TrueSpace technology. No matter what you’re watching, TrueSpace intelligently analyzes signals other than Dolby Atmos, like stereo or 5.1, and upmixes them to create an immersive multi-channel sound experience. Instruments, dialogue, and effects are separated, then placed around the room.
It wouldn’t be a Bose smart soundbar if it weren’t packed full of technology. The acoustic architecture of Smart Soundbar squeezes five transducers — including two that fire upward — into its compact frame. They all work together to spread sound around your room: horizontally left, right, and forward, but most importantly above to reflect off the ceiling.
If you can get it on your phone, you can hear it through the Bose Smart Soundbar. And no matter what you stream, it all sounds deep and rich. Connect to Wi-Fi to access integrated music services and internet radio stations through the Bose app. Or stream songs and video with Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, or Chromecast built-in. It’s your entertainment — you choose how you stream it.
Now you can pair the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds (sold separately) with your soundbar to add new dimension to your movies and TV. Acting as rear surround speakers for the individual user, they combine a unique open-ear design with breakthrough Bose Immersive Audio to add another rich layer to the sonic experience your soundbar delivers.
For voice control, Amazon Alexa capabilities are built-in, so all you have to do is say the word. Plus, proprietary Voice4Video technology expands your Alexa voice capabilities like only a Bose soundbar can. In addition to your Bose smart soundbar, you can control your TV and cable/satellite box with just your voice. Or use your Smart Soundbar with a compatible Google device to access Works With Google Assistant features.²
Smart Soundbar is just one way to fill your home with music. Group it with other Wi-Fi-enabled Bose speakers and soundbars for a seamless, whole-home audio experience. That could mean different songs in different rooms, or the same song throughout.
If “smart” doesn’t exactly describe your home, you can still connect Smart Soundbar with compatible Bose Bluetooth speakers and headphones with Bose SimpleSync¹. Want to watch TV but not disturb others? Pair your soundbar with select Bose headphones for a personal TV listening experience. Or do you want to add even more sound? Pair your soundbar with select Bose Bluetooth speakers.
Pairing your Bose Smart Soundbar to compatible Bose products is now easier than ever with updated SimpleSync¹ technology. Away from your phone? No app, no problem. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on each device to group and sync their sound for audio that follows you from room to room. You can now also connect your Bose Smart Soundbar to a pre-existing group or smart device at a moment’s notice by pressing the Action button on the connecting device.
The Bose Smart Soundbar delivers full immersion all on its own. But you can still add to the experience to make up for any limitations in your space or for a more theater-like experience. Dial up low-end fullness with a wireless bass module or take spaciousness to another level with surround speakers. Or add both to round out a full home theater system.
Now with smarter TV connectivity. From guided setup to choosing all your preferences, the Bose app is the key to all Smart Soundbar has to offer. Connect the soundbar to your TV using either HDMI eARC/ARC or the optical audio connection (both cables are included) and hook it up to power. The Bose app walks you through the rest. You can then set up voice control and Voice4Video, manage Bose Wi-Fi-enabled products, update software, and browse all your music in one place.
This elegant and compact soundbar measures 27.5" wide (69.5 cm) by 2.25" (6 cm) tall and fits perfectly under any TV. Or choose the optional bracket to mount it on your wall (sold separately). The top surface is a sleek matte black and is complemented by a perforated wraparound metal grille — all designed to look great in your room.
