Terrible purchase. Wasted $400. The Power button is FLIMSY and WEAK. I pressed the button too hard and heard the plastic break and fall into the speaker. Now it is un-usuable. There is also no remote or automatic bluetooth turn on functionality so now the speaker has become a brick. I only owned it for 7 months. And trying to replace it with BOSE now, the serial number is printed so poorly they cannot recognize the ID. Please don’t waste your money and time with this poorly made product.

This speaker has a design flaw with parasitic battery discharge (possibly from Bluetooth staying active) even after turning off the speaker. Check out forums online, it is a known issue that drains from 10-20% per week if the speaker is left unplugged. It's forgivable for a $25 Temu junker, but not this. Anyway mine drained to 0% (not knowing this) and now it won't turn on anymore or charge the battery. Im getting it replaced *hopefully* though Bose warranty, but 3-4 week claims are an annoying chore to deal with for a 'premium' product. Missed the 15 day BB return window unfortunately. It sounded fantastic when it worked for the month I had it, but not worth the hassle. Buyer beware.

I heard that Bose is the best, it wasn't good experience because the sound is breaking up too much. so, I thought may this one individual product not working but I went to the Best Buy to exchange the same Boss speaker. Unfortunately this boss speaker doesn't turn off and heat lever was very up. According to Goggle it can blast too and it can occur fire too. I have to keep this speaker outside my home overnight to keep my house safe. I will never ever buy this product again. very very bad experience. I will look for another option.

Great sound, poorly made product. When I first bought the speaker the volume button wouldn't work. Ok- I can work around and change volume level from the phone. But now, the speaker won't even charge. The sound is great, but this is not the type of quality I would expect out of a $200 product. EXTREMELY disappointed.

I would also recommend trying a different charger to see if this allows you to charge the speaker again. A power supply rating of 1 A / 1000 mA or higher is recommended.

I will say, the sound on these are amazing until after about 3-4 uses. However, within the very short time and few uses, I found the speakers to become distorted quickly and permanently. The sound cracks at just about every volume and distorts the sound. I never played these close to loud enough to damage the speakers and have kept the volume about middle at most. These are just terrible quality and I do not recommend them at all. I have had my replacement for only a few days and maybe put about 10 minutes of sound through them before they went bad. I will not be getting a third.

Really poor service. I purchased Bosed Soundlink Max online, an open box in "excellent" condition for a few dollars off the retail price. Excellent is described as "as new" with all packaging, accessories, etc. When I arrived, they brought out a dirty speaker with no accessories, no charger, and no packaging that they had glued multiple stickers all over. I traveled several towns over for what i thought was a deal which turned out to be false advertising. "Sorry" by employees but no alternative or solution offered. Of course I refused it & now the item as new has increased $100. So inept.

Bought this open box and was amazed with its sound quality and sturdiness. My major issue however is within 24 hours of purchasing the strap that attached it to my backpack strap failed this my speaker fell and was lost and presumably stolen as I retraced my steps no longer than 10 minutes after leaving my car. (It was off so no music was playing therefore I wouldn’t have heard a lack of music)

I tried it out in the store and was impressed. I had every intention of using it in my car because my radio is broken. I’m not sure if I just got a bad one but it was at least 50% less loud than the one on display in the store. I ended up returning it. Sound quality was terrible, battery life was short, I’d like to keep looking to buy something a little bigger.
