I’ve been using my Bose Bluetooth for a few weeks now, and honestly, it been one of my best tech purchases. The sound quality is what hits first. Everything feels clear, balanced, and immersive. Whether I’m listening to music, watching videos, or even taking calls, the audio just feels premium—not too bass-heavy, not too flat, just right. It’s perfect for studying, commuting, or just relaxing. Bose is known for this, and they definitely live up to the hype here. Another thing I didn’t expect to appreciate this much is the comfort. Battery life has also been solid. I don’t find myself constantly charging them, which makes daily use stress-free

Good when you want hear song with beats and bass at low to mid volume. If you increase volume its laoud like other spearkers (comparing with JBL) but bass and beats downgrade. Play time is really good.

Being a Bose speaker, I was expecting great things. That's exactly what they delivered. I have used their QuietComfort noise cancelling ear buds for years and love them. We've had and used several cheap portable speakers for beach trips and in the garage and they've done reasonably well, but nothing compares to the sound quality and room-filling sound of Bose. Out of the box, the battery level was very low, so I charged it in the kitchen. While it was charging, I paired it with my phone and the Bose app. I initially used my phone's EQ settings to make adjustments, but it wasn't quite right. I then used the Bose app's EQ settings and was able to find the perfect balance. I listened to a few songs that I know very well and they sounded great. I then turned the volume up and was able to hear it clearly throughout the hose. Even being behind a few walls, it still filled the house with sound. For as compact as it is, it has a great volume level without distortion. There are several buttons on the top of it. Power, Bluetooth, Shortcut, Volume Down, Play/Pause and volume up. You can pair more than one speaker together and a nice feature is that you can also pair it with a Bose soundbar. That's great if you have a "dead spot" in your room with your soundbar. The default for the "shortcut" button is speaker link to link two Bose speakers together. The only other option is Spotify. One press resumes Spotify and another lets you discover music. I wish there were more options for the shortcut button. I don't use Spotify, and I don't have any need for additional speakers, so that button is useless for me. Maybe in the future they will add more options for it. It does have Multi-point connection so that more than one device can be connected to it at once. That's perfect as my phone can be connected as well as my wife's and we can switch back and forth between them. The EQ in the Bose app has four presets. (Bass Boost, Bass Reducer, Treble Boost and Treble Reducer). You can also set Bass, Mid and Treble independently with a slider from +10 to -10. The USB-C port is not only for charging it, but it can also be used to charge your phone. They say that if the battery is fully charged it has a life of 20 hours (this is reduced significantly if you're using it at max volume). As loud as this speaker can get, I doubt many people will use it at max volume for long. Charge time is about five hours. You can hold the power button and it will tell you the battery level. If you press the Bluetooth button it will tell you which device is connected. If you connect another speaker, there are Party and Stereo modes. In Party Mode, both speakers play together. In Stereo Mode, one speaker plays the left channel and the other plays the right channel separately. This speaker is rugged. It's quite heavy and has a rope loop for carrying it or attaching it to something. They claim that it can take a fall and is dust and waterproof as well as shock resistant (IP67 rated). Overall, it's a great speaker that can stand up to the elements and go where you go. I definitely recommend it.

In the world of battery-powered Bluetooth speakers, the diminutive Bose Soundlink Plus stands alone. It is not the biggest or the loudest or the most feature laden gadget in this universe. But it may well produce the cleanest, most accurate and most balanced sound of any speaker out there. Which is more that a little surprising for a Bluetooth speaker this small. At a smidge over 9 inches wide and 4 inches tall, this is one of smallest "party speakers" on the market. Most companies producing these things make them big, with big speakers, and put more of an emphasis and bone-rattling bass than accurate music reproduction. Bose seems to think differently, which is an interesting approach in an era when the heavy thump of the bass beat is what most buyers gravitate to. This is not to say the Soundlink Plus is incapable of producing decent bass. It does just fine in that regard, despite its small size. But the real magic is how this speaker balances that bass with super clean mids and soaring crystal clear highs. Some might even consider this speaker a bit too bright in terms of the sound it produces. If so, you can tone those down highs using the equalizer in the somewhat limited but adequate Bose app. In running this speaker through its paces, I have to admit to being a bit stunned at hearing sonic details in some of my favorite songs that I have never heard before. The output from the Soundlink Plus is that bright and clean. It is hard not to be impressed with the technology that went into this thing. Bose has long been a leader in high-end speakers and the Soundlink Plus is but the latest example of that artistry. That being said, it probably is not for everyone. If you are one of those people more inclined toward blasting bass-heavy dance tunes at the beach or pool deck, the Soundlink Plus probably would not be your first choice. It can't get nearly as loud as the much larger party speakers out there. And it and can't match those bass levels either. But if you are more into listening to music than feeling it, the Soundlink Plus is an excellent choice. It's easy to move around, given how small it is. There is a small finger-sized carrying loop on one side (Although it is surprisingly heavy, a testament to the heft of those speaker magnets) Bose claims it is waterd and dust resistant, able to survive even being dropped into a pool.(IP 67) It will float, supposedly. And also survive a sand bath. Just rinse it off and dry it off and you are good to go. Supposedly. Not sure I would try that. The waterproof claims are little surprising since there is an open USB C port on the back for charging. (Those are usually hidden behind a waterproof door on competing all-weather speakers). But Bose advices against trying to charge the speaker right away after a water bath. Let it dry out first. Alternating white and amber lights on top warn if it is wet inside and needs to dry out. Otherwise, expect about 20 hours of life on every charge, less if you opt to charge your phone, using the aforementioned USB C port, while it wirelessly feeds tunes to the speaker. The Soundlink Plus is mono only but if you have the bankroll to buy two of these things, you can pair them and get stereo, as well as a much wider sound field. It also is supposed to support a mono "speaker link" mode with other Bose speakers but I never could get that to work with an older Bose speaker I own. As for other features, well, there are none. It does not support wi-fi (Bluetooth only), has no bass boosters and lacks the fancy light shows many competitors have. Bose apparently decided they would shine instead via stellar music reproduction. And that works for me.

I have the max, and the flex. The max is definitely the best base. I use for talk radio. This speaker sounds great, EQ is very good. This is my favorite Bose speaker. Easy to sync Bluetooth. Long battery life. Compact , light weight. As usually always on Bose, the speaker sounds great.

The sound is good. However, I bought a second one to pair with each other to have a left and right speaker ability. I found it was not easy to get them to pair so I took the second one back. The speaker is heavy and bulky but with a powerful sound. I’m just not sure I would recommend getting them to pair into writing and left speakers.

Great speaker! Really good sound and like the size. Not 5 stars because it is HEAVY! Way heavier than you would expect it be. I have large speakers that are not as heavy. But this speaker does pack a punch. Much better sound than the smaller version.
