Because of the design underneath this base, the power cord does not stay plugged in! It’s difficult just to get it plugged into the base and then because they made the corded area curved in an unnatural way it forces the cord out of position rendering the base useless for charging. The design on top requires you to set the speaker on in a specific direction so it’s not just a quick set it down on base and charge! I had to fold paper and shove it up against power cord underneath just to keep the cord in place so the base will work! Very poor design and could have been good. They must have known this but manufactured and sold it anyway. Sadly I do not recommend this item, but it could be good if they just fix how the cord is routed underneath!

Useless and wish I hadn’t of bought it. The speaker fits on the base in a very specific way, have to pick both pieces up and fit them together like a puzzle and hope it stays while plugging in the base. Total waste of money. The speaker can be plugged directly in.

Hi Riss, I am sorry you do not like the design of the charging dock. You are correct, you can charge the speaker directly using the port on the side. I am glad this works for your use case.

The track to run the thin usb cable is curved and it is difficult to fit the cable through the curved track into the thin USB port. Why not just have a straight track for the cable. Completely useless

Don't buy it. Cannot get the cord which comes with the speaker to go in. Terrible design. I just use the plug for my speaker. I wasted my money

I thought this would be a good purchase but it has a few design flaws that makes me regret the purchase. It is pain to keep the power cord in because of the angle and the slightest jiggle loosens it. To actually place the speaker on the charger is also a pain. Even though it looks like you have everything lined up, chances are you don’t and it takes a minute or two to get the right angle. If I am spending $300 on a speaker I should not have to pay $30 extra for a charger

Bought it as a Christmas gift for my sister with the speaker itself and the first time she tried to use it wouldn’t work at all. Returned it and got my money back. Bose is usually really well made and always works, but for some reason this one did not. This was probably a fluke, but nonetheless I was pretty disappointed.

I'll be returning this and asking for another one. Typical Chinese crap. Nice idea, works fine, but cord will not stay plugged in. Design does not make any provision for strain relief on cord and gravity pulls it loose. Maybe its just poor quality control and the next one will be better.

The power cord does not stay connected. The idea behind it is ok, but in all actuality, the power cord can simply plug into the back of the speaker itself to charge and has no connection issues.

Worthless. My revolve has charging issues and the recommendation from bose is to not use the charging dock. So instead of being a covienient way to charge the speaker, it's a complete waste of money.

There is no power cord to charge this charging cradle making it useless unless you include one, buy one or reuse the power cord from an old charging cradle.

Only available in black. Doesn't come with its own cable. Connector is flimsy. To attach speaker to the base, you must align it perfectly so it's inconvenient. Don't buy it !!!

This is the worst Bose product I have ever used. It looks nice and feels sturdy but sadly it ends there. The power plug that goes into the base easily comes loose. If you don't touch the charger or base and don't move it at all so that the chord is never touched, the base will charge your speaker. If you bump the wire, it will come loose. There is no lock, no closing mechanism, nothing. It's just an input into the base of the charger. This would be fine if it held it in place but it's so cumbersome to see and insert and then flip the base back over all the while hoping the chord doesn’t come loose again. I’d expect this kind of design from a $1 knockoff item but from Bose, wow, just wrong on their part. I paid $300 for a great speaker but at that price I’d hope Bose would back it up with a cradle that compliments the speaker, not insults it. I was annoyed I had to buy this in addition to the speaker but thought, it’s Bose, the quality will be there – wrong wrong wrong. If you don’t mind plugging your speaker in from time to time (which you’ll be doing with this cradle anyway) I recommend saving your money until Bose comes out with a revised model that does what it’s advertised to do. Purchasing this product, I feel scammed.
