The GX-1B Bass Multi-Effects Processor gives bassists a portable, all-in-one platform for developing sounds at home, recording ideas and performing with confidence. Built around BOSS bass-focused processing, it includes 16 AIRD amp models and 135 effects that cover essential tone shaping, creative textures and live performance needs. Players can combine up to eight effect blocks at once, adjust the signal flow and store custom patches alongside ready-to-play presets, making it easier to prepare sounds for different songs, genres or setups. The processor supports high-quality audio with 24-bit AD conversion, 32-bit DA conversion, 32-bit floating-point processing and 48 kHz sampling, helping preserve clarity and response across clean, driven and effect-heavy tones. Its onboard controls are designed for fast operation, with a color graphic display, dedicated effect buttons, three footswitches and an expression pedal with toe switch for real-time adjustments. Bluetooth support lets you play along with tracks from a mobile device, while USB-C connectivity allows recording with compatible music production software on a computer or mobile device. The BOSS Tone Studio app adds deeper editing, practice features, rhythm tools, Session mode and access to BOSS Tone Exchange for downloading and sharing Livesets.
