These small speakers more than exceed their size and sound great. I'm using for front surround for my Sony TV and stereo with a Yamaha receiver. ** My only complaint is I purchased two as open box/ satisfactory condition. So I was prepared for minor nicks or marks on them. One of the two came in original box and was actually near perfect condition. The other was in unmarked carton. This 2nd speaker has been used to the point that the swivel function left-right or up-down is warn out. So this one only only points down. ** So I would recommend for purchase. Just beware of open box product.

I have these in the same room as a pair of floor standing reference speakers that I use for listening to music - these little B&W's obviously don't hold a candle to the big floor standing speakers. That said, I use them only for home theater and they're actually pretty good for TV and movies. I don't think that they're great for music. If you have the room, I'd recommend opting for floor standing speakers of similar quality. If you're cramped for space because you bought those reference floor standing speakers that your wife hates and/or have a wife that didn't want you to buy anymore electronic gadgets, these may be the speakers you need (so that she doesn't divorce you).

Had already invested in the sub-woofer and 2 of these "portable" speakers a few years ago. Not sure why hadn't thought about finishing up the sound before. These are easy to set up, flexible for mounting or sitting, small footprint, great sound. Like the total system even more, now ! While pricey, likely worth the $$. Another component , wireless speaker kit, is needed to make this work, so be prepared to purchase that, too. Very discrete box that fit nicely under a chair.

These speakers are very nice looking and sound great, I am using them as rear speakers in my theater, 112" screen. The mounting bracket that mounts them to the wall are a ball mount that is somewhat limited as fare as the swivel angle, only about 30 degrees. i was hoping for 45 degrees. They will not point to the center of the room from the rear corner of the room. i have only had them for about a week now and have only had 3 opportunities to watch a movie with them. Still breaking them in at moderate listing levels. have yet to really crank them up.

Good clear sound. Own many of these exact speakers for a reason. The rest got 5 stars but not this one. I had this oriented as the center speaker do it was horizontal. The weight of the speaker was too much for the stand in this orientation and had a fair amount of play. This was a concern because it was a stress point and created a poor contact. 5 stars in vertical position though or wall mounted with factory mount

Excellent build quality. I mounted 2 of these speakers on the wall for a home theater. You have to be very careful when remounting the base. I managed to break the first wall mount. I had to order a new one at $40.99 with shipping. The wall mounts could be improved. This is my only complaint. Once these were successfully mounted, there were no issues.

Fantastic entry level speakers that will live on in my household. As long as the little kids don't put their fingers on them. Very responsive and punchy when given a little extra juice. Movies and music sound amazing. I'm hearing things I never thought were there in the music. The name says it all. But with these you need a punchy bass in order to sound just right

Bought these for stereo set up in a small room for 2.1 channel listening. I have always been a big fan of B&W speakers. This have excellent sound quality and a large sound stage for their size. I have them paired with a Paradigm 8" sub. Perfect for music listening. These things have solid build quality. Minus 1 star for the base to connect speaker wire and wall mount.

Solid built small speaker. Very good mid-bass to treble separation. Love the aluminum speaker housing contour. Speaker has a slightly weighted solid feel. Very good neutral treble presence. I enjoyed the stereo sound of the first pair so much that I was compiled to purchase the other three for a surround sound set up.

They pack a lot of power into very small speakers. They have substantial weight so they also feel like quality speakers. This is the first time that we heard small speakers that sounded great and were within our budget.

The speaker has great sound but the way the base is done is overly complicated and restricts how you position the speaker. I had initially wanted to position the speaker to directionally point in a specific way but was not able to. The ability to turn the speaker on the base is restricted and you have to use the bases provided by B&W. If not for the design of the base, I would give this 5 stars.

Sounds really good for such a small speaker....I used included hardware to wall mount mine. I have705s up front and a 700 center .. are they as good as the $2500 705s...not by a long shot, but they are fine for movies where a little surround is called for and I used them for sacd 5.1 playback....maybe I'll upgrade to a 707 for the back someday but for the price you can't beat these.

A lot of sound for such a small speaker! While they are a little pricey in my opinion it's worth it.

These speakers are prefect to add surround in a 5.1 system. I use them with B&W 705 bookshelf speakers and they sound great together.

These were the speakers I started with. I got 3.. one center and two front side speakers. Right off the bat I wasn't happy with the center speaker. It was hard to hear voices. The side speakers were great! Upgraded the center speaker now I am loving the setup!

These speakers were recommended my Geek Squad reps as good quality but reasonably priced speakers for my home set up. They sound great and were are pleased with the result and price.

Mounting required one toggle bolt and one deck screw per speaker...positioned at edge of a stud. Wire routing and hole drilling had to be precise. Looks and sound pair well with my B&W mains.

Was seeking to upgrade old speakers in our living room. Best Buy associate suggested these speakers. We are quite happy with their quality and performance.

Design of wall mount adapter is flimsy. Have to be careful not to break up the connectors. Excellent speakers just don’t use the wall mount.

sound great looks high end would recommend to friend and family members at the time purchase there was only one stock i had to go to anther store pick up the other one
