Dead after 30 days, hasn’t been seen for 6 weeks. There is only one warranty repair shop you can send B&W products to for warranty repairs (United Radio) and they are absolute trash. They said it would take “7-10 days to receive parts,” but 6 weeks later, still waiting for parts. I had to pay for shipping to them for repair because that’s not covered by the warranty. I have three ASW610 subwoofers with zero problems, but the one that costs 3x more and requires an app is garbage.

The one I got didn't work. I spent 5 hours trying everything I could think of with no success. The app sucks. No controls on the back so, you have to use the app. I returned it and got the Definitive Technology 10".

I made the mistake of buying two of these subwoofers. First let me say this whole application to control it is absolutely atrocious. If the subwoofer had a knob on it like all the others do I would not be giving it a one-star review. Instead I'm stuck with a subwoofer that I constantly need to change the settings on because the settings do not stick through the app. To be clear I bought two of these subwoofers. The first one works fine and the settings stay with no issues. The second one on the other hand constantly resets back to the default settings. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this product. Bowers & Wilkins chose to do some high-tech garbage instead of just keeping things simple and sticking to sound quality. Now I am stuck with $3,000 worth of subwoofers that are subpar in quality. I should have bought Svs.

Hi Jason,
We apologize for your experience. A software enhancement was made well over a year ago that addressed settings not being saved by the subwoofer. Your experience sounds like one of the subwoofers had the software update will the other did not due to different manufacturing dates. Updating the second unit would address your issue and give the same functionality to both products. As with any modern product that uses software, we always recommend updating software before use.

Needs a special XLR cable that I had to buy myself separate. Nothing worked on the sub. Nothing, no sound. B&W online support was very lacking. Expected better from Best Buy on this.

we were looking for a sub base that would work for both theater and audio. It didnt do it. there was no seperation. For the cost, one would like more clearity.
