This looks like an excellent-fantastic subwoofer and perfectly matched for the B&W 800 D3 series of speakers. I wonder how it would match the McIntosh XR100s since the bass driver is constructed different. Any ideas?
Answered by Bowers & Wilkins TeamHi Joe, Great question. The DB2D is designed to pair with 800 Diamond products and it needs to have bass drivers with very low levels of distortion in order to seamlessly blend. As such, it is a chameleon and will blend well with any high quality speaker.
Would the DB1D match the same sub DB1 ?
