I have a seriously love-hate relationship with these speakers after owning them + Formation Bass + Formation Audio for 2 years. On the one hand they are fantastic, sound amazing (especially with Roon), and are hands-down the best speakers I've ever owned. On the other hand they were super finicky and my partner can't use them because there's no volume button/remote and she doesn't want to use the app. We actually use it for both music and movies and it works wonderfully when it does work. It's not designed for movie watching so it's hard to knock it on that but generally when the file sizes/song quality increases, the speakers start to struggle and get less reliable. I believe this is partly due to being 2.4 GHz only and also due to the fact that they're likely just bad at staying connected to one another. They often get out of sync or have a brief pausing when catching up etc. It also strangely has gotten worse over time - that one I can't figure out. I beefed up my WiFi with a ton of extenders etc and it never got better. No other device on my network has issues. Then I plugged them into Ethernet and life was so much better, until literally 2 years and 1 month into ownership one of them just started crackling and appears to be busted. Of course the warranty is only 2 years for such an expensive and "high end" product. I feel that Bowers is not selling a product here that they stand behind or want to keep up to date but I'm also very torn because I'm not sure what speakers would have been better for my application (not wanting a receiver, not wanting a ton of wires, but wanting high end sound). Sigh - cannot recommend.

I really wanted these earbuds to work for me. Some design issues make them unusable for me. Design issues can't be fixed, so I have to return these. The positive. 1. They sound great. 2. The look great. The negative. 1. They are difficult to get out of the case. There is nothing to grab hold of while pulling them out of the case. 2. They don't stay in my ear very long. 3. The left earbud is probably defective. It cuts out almost half the time. It's only the left earbud doing this. I have tried keeping my phone close to the buds to no avail. I tried contacting both B&W and Best Buy about this. B&W put me on 'forever' hold. I couldn't get past the robot with Best Buy. 4. They are frustrating to reinsert into my when they start to fall out. This is because the button is too large and too sensitive. It is nearly impossible to avoid deploying the button during reinsertion. In my case, deploying the button brings up the B&W phone app even if I was listening to a different app. Now I have to stop walking, open my phone and find the app I was really listening to. Since they don't stay on my ear for long, this is a big problem. 5. The phone app doesn't seem to add any value to apps I already have. 6. I have problems getting them paired to my Android. It is still not clear to me how I get them paired, but I eventually do.

Love the fit in the ear but not the best earbuds to have. I’ve had three pair of Bose earbuds that stay connected up until they get old and lose sound more than anything. So I decide since I had Bowers and Wilkins audio speakers in my one I would try their earbuds. My pair kept having frequency issues that delayed the quality from being superb. Love the fit but would not buy again nor recommend

Sound great louder than previous versions,Talk is garbage everyone has trouble hearing me. Connection is also garbage they sometimes don’t automatically connect to my phone so before I go in the gym and leave the case in my car I have to make sure they are connected because if not sometimes they don’t connect or only one connects and I have to go back out put them in the case and then take them out. Very very annoying!!!

I LOVE these when they are working properly. I’ve had one issue after another with these earbuds connecting….. Not connecting at all, one side connecting, cutting off after 15 minutes, tap control working but no audio coming through the same side, having to constantly pair over and over again. Hopefully they send me a new pair quickly because I’m a musician and need them fo my living. They are EXPENSIVE an I expect much more! Hopefully I just got a bad pair and the replacement won’t repeat this bad experience

This speaker is just "OK". At this price, it should really be a 3-way speaker. There is basically NO low bass. I wouldn't recommend this speaker without an external subwoofer in the overall system. Highs and Mid-base are all there is here. Low Bass is essentially nowhere to be found. Unacceptable at this price level. Very difficult to set up for computer use! I have only heard it through the phone App. "barely". But I bought these for wireless use with a computer. Big fail here. I have not been able to connect these speakers to my Apple computer. The price is outrageous. I expected these speakers to simply "just work" with my computer. But, alas, with their lack of low end bass, and poor 'ease of connection' to Apple computers, I would not them.

[Employee of bestbuy] My expectations were high considering the existing reviews. I went with the mcclaren edition because of the color way, but these headphones have no reason to be $700-$800. They are built nice with metal, but man the audio quality is ok at best. Sony XM5 while plastic are atleast light weight and sound the same if not better with far superior noise cancellation.

They are nice good sound but definitely not as great as advertised for the money. Was looking for better performance.

Look and feel is fantastic, but the delay on sound from all sources when using Bluetooth is too much for me. I had to return and stick with the B&W Px7 S2s.
