About This Item
Among the many versions of the Brahms Concerto this one ranks as excellent. Oistrakh displays a fabulous, unforced tone than fully captures the classical spirit of Brahms. The sound quality holds up well. The Dvorak is also excellent, with with more sure-footed orchestral support. Oistrakh again plays magnificently, making a case for this underrated concerto.
