This was a gift for my wife and she loves using it. She did use a regular sewing machine and wanted to try this. The machine works very well with a little help with You Tube videos.

I've only been able to use it a few times, but so far it's awesome and pretty easy to use.

I’ve been sewing my whole life, although new to machine embroidery. I’m familiar with Kenmore, Singer & Janome. This is my first Brothers and I am very impressed. It is so easy to use, reasonably priced, runs quietly & takes up little table space. I’m a quilter and wanted a machine to date and sign my quilts. After reading reviews I chose this machine. Being a Disney fan, I will be using it for much more than just the fonts on quilt tags. I researched machine embroidering and also watched several YouTube videos on the subject. I then read my Brothers manual, purchased threads that was recommended in my research and also bought stabilizer. My first attempt to embroidery lettering and dates all turned out perfect. My second attempt was a design that is pre-loaded in the machine and a quote & it, too, turned out beautifully. I have since made several items and am very pleased.

Bought this for my wife who's a beginner to embroidery and scored a Home Run. She absolutely love's it. It's very easy to use and comes preloaded with a ton of great stuff.

I got this machine as a gift. I have never used one before and a tutorial dvd would have been helpful but there is a video on the website. It has preprogrammed Disney designs and that was the main reason this machine was chosen. Very happy with this!

Does not line back up when using the large font you can only type two letters. Doesn't allow me to change colors either

I thought I paid a decent amount of money for a sewing machine for a 12 year old and apparently it wasn't enough. This machine spent more time at the shop then in production. I do not recommend it.

Can't say much but she loved the product, it was for my mother in law and she loved it.
