The headphone jack on my iPhone 6+ no longer works & this Scosche Bluetooth FM transmitter has been a godsend! A few people have complained about some electrical interfence or squealing nosies & I did experience some of that but resolved that problem by using “MyCharger” power brick (also bought at Best Buy) instead of using the car’s charging system and that plus selecting the right requency has resulted in no noise other than my music! :) You can choose any frequency from 88.7-107.9 & radio-Locator is a good website to check out th best frequencies to use in your city. The FM transmitter is powerful enough where I don’t have to shift frequ;encies, it provides a clear strong signal within the car. I have found that that in the set-up to select a frequency the remote made it easier......also this unit acts like a complete audio Bluetooth unit, you can take and receive calls w/o having to pick up your smartphone. (Something I don’t normallly do but had an emergency call several weeks ago and it was nice to be able to have a short conversation and to have both hands on the steering wheel!

I bought it for my 16 yo son. He loves it! He now can listen to his country music in his truck.

Let me start by saying my car does not have blue tooth technology (2010 model). And I am not about to buy a new car. So, I did some research to see if there was a way for me to stream my Apple music w/o using the portable Beats speaker pill I had been using. I came across an article about blue tooth FM transmitters. I looked at several suggested brands and Scosche kept coming up. I went to Best Buy to purchase this particular transmitter (44.00). And let me tell you its a game changer. The sound is very clear. Its simple to set up. Paring my phone to it was a breeze. You have to tune one of your radio stations to a static/empty FM channel. You can control the device either manually or with the supplied remote control. I actually don't use the remote because I can't see it when its dark. I have familiarized myself with the buttons on the receiver and that's worked out fine. I can also take phone calls while driving. By the way, if you hold the phone button down for 3-4 seconds it activates the voice control. I use it to send text messages. It will automatically pause the music when a call is coming thru. It'll say the number that's calling. It would be cool it had access to your call list and could say the name of the caller. (I personally don't know anyone's number any more) It also serves double duty because you can charge your phone thru the built in port for those of us who only have one cigarette lighter. To sum it all up- I really like this transmitter. Its not to fancy like the (80.00) models. But that's not what I need. I just to be able to stream my music w/o having to carry my Beats pill everyday.

This device works exactly as expected. Plug into car aux power socket, set the frequency you want to use on the unit, match it on your radio, pair the bluetooth to your android or iphone, and start broadcasting music using your car sound system. Works amazingly well in our 2005 Dodge Caravan for long trips. Worth every penny! When done using it, pull it out of the aux socket, as it can interfere with normal car radio listening. Also has a USB socket to power your mobile phone! Great unit, and very glad to have it. Teenage daughter is more willing to join us on family trips with this unit in the car so she can play her wonderful music for all to hear, loudly. ;-)

Got this because my truck doesn't have Blue tooth. Now I can play what I want to hear with no advertisements. Simple to use but I did find that it put a huge delay on my testing while it was plugged in but then again texting while driving is illegal as it should be so it still gets 5 stars.

The only drawback is the fact that I have to unplug it when I turn my truck off. Otherwise: great sound quality, the ability to easily make and receive calls, all through your phone. You’ve got to play with your radio to find the perfect/empty frequency, which can be tricky to find. Once I found a good channel the device worked flawlessly. Comes with a remote, which is more dangerous while driving. I have an iPhone 7 Plus and they both pair with each other as soon as I plug the device in. Voila! Tunes without commercials.

Easy to use, good price, and works very good. Love that it has a remote too

I have an older vehicle that doesn't have bluetooth phone OR an aux jack for listening to music. This is perfect for both of my needs! I can listen to music, answer calls, & safely operate my vehicle. It comes with a remote that I haven't had to use, but it may come in handy if I need to change the transmitter channel on it while on a road trip. I also have it as a trusted device on my phone so it automatically pairs as soon as I get in the car. And I use the charger port a lot. It's a great little device!

Product works great for hands free, only complaint I have is you have to make sure when you answer your phone the volume on your radio is turned way up to hear the collar when they are talking. The music piece comes in great. Make sure you have a radio station that doesn't have any other interference.

Bought this for my 70-year-old mother when the traffic laws in our state changed to 'hands-free only'. She couldn't stand an earpiece in her ear. This is a good alternative. Sound is good. Connection is good. Easy to set-up and operate. I'd buy it again.

Can be connected to user device by acting as a Bluetooth receiver that then gets picked up as an fm radio station. The choosing and changing of fm tansmition station is easy to manipulate on the transmitter as well as with the included remote control. Bluetooth use can be easily bypassed by using the included audio auxillary cord ran from the device's headphone jack out port to the transmitter's Auxillary in port. Also, there is a USB charging port on the transmitter that sustains an actual lightening quick charge (I can't recall the voltz or amps off the top of my head) rather then simply claiming to do so like most USB connections do. I paid way more then I'm comfortable with for this thing and I have since found comperable items for way less online (1/2 my paid price or less) but when I bought this, I wanted it that day for immediate use and it has never let me down. The blue colored light that is the digital display on the front can become abnoxious if the driver ever gets light sensitivity when driving in the dark. This display brightness is not adjustable and it seems that blue light draws in and then strains and tires most people's eyes more quickly then alternative colors.

I was hesitant about purchasing this item, but it performs ever so much better than I expected. I like the fact that it's hidden from view and people riding with me believe it's internet radio which in actuality it is, it activities almost immediately. Kudos to the manufacturers. I'm totally satisfied with the functionality but it would be better if it came with a charger outlet for the phone.

I have a 05 Chevy with AM/FM CD player. I wanted to play my iTunes and use my cell phone through my car speakers. Just plugged in transmitter to power and set radio to 88.1 and your done. Great fix for those radios with no Bluetooth or connection to plug into. Nice clear sound for price.

I am very happy with the way this device works. It was easy to set up. I choose to use the plug into the aux outlet because the sound is a little better, but that is not necessary. I am tickled that it turns on as soon as the car is turned on - not all devices do this. The sound is clear, everything works the way I wanted it to, very happy with this.

The FM Transmitter is easy to set up. This is my second one as the first one lasted about 6 months before the screen went out. The sound is good.

I don't regret buying this Bluetooth transmitter. Connecting to my car speakers has made my long commute more enjoyable.

I like this product a lot. It works well in my work vehicle and I will recommend this product to my fellow coworkers. The bluetooth when using the phone mode is crystal clear. I don't have anyone asking me to repeat myself. The sound quality through the factory speakers is nice enough to enjoy my music. This is my recommendation.

Low or no static while using it in car with phone on Bluetooth connection to play YouTube music. Like how it bends easily to adjust how high or low the transmitter sticks up out of the cigarette lighter spot. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to add Bluetooth capabilities to their car radio.

This was easy to quick and easy to install and a cost effective way to solve a big problem. Only challenge is depending on where you’re able to install this in the vehicle. This was going in to a 2009 Honda CR-V - due to the location of the aux port, we had to install for the rear center console. It works...just would respond better to voice if was located on the front. Great product though.
