Bump is the child brain of three talented musicians based just outside of Chicago, Il. Joe Rocha (Bass/Vocals), Jay Rocha (Drums), and Dave Benziger (Guitar, Vocals). They have been playing as side musicians for other artists in the Chicago area for over 20 years and have recently had the time and opportunity to record their own debut, self-titled album. The opportunity came about when a guitar hero of Dave's, Carl Verheyen (guitarist for the band Supertramp and A-List Hollywood television and movie session guitarist) suggested that the band come out to L.A. to record an album with him as producer. You see, as much as the guys like making their own music and performing live as Bump, their main goal is to be out on the road as side musicians for artists on the pro circuit. With help from their friends who are already on the pro circuit playing for today's biggest artists, they are well on their way to achieving that goal.
