This Cable Leader power cord splitter turns one grounded 3-prong NEMA 5-15P outlet into two IEC C13 connections, so a desktop PC and its monitor, or a pair of monitors, run from a single plug instead of two. Built with heavy-duty 16 AWG 3-conductor SJT cable, fully molded strain-relief connectors, and a 13A 125V rating shared across both legs, it replaces two separate computer power cords with one Y splitter and frees a slot on your power strip. Compatible with any device using an IEC C14 inlet - desktop PCs, monitors, laser printers, servers, network switches, NAS units, projectors, and powered speakers - as long as the combined load stays under 13A. Not for equipment with a C15, C19, C7, or C5 inlet, and not a surge protector. Best for: powering two C14-inlet devices from one outlet in home offices, dual-monitor desks, and rack or AV setups. Plug the NEMA 5-15P end into any standard 3-prong wall outlet, power strip, or UPS and the two IEC C13 legs feed two devices at once - a desktop tower plus its monitor, two monitors on one arm, a server with dual power supplies, or a printer and scanner sharing one plug. One trunk cable replaces two computer power cords, cuts cable clutter, and leaves an outlet free on the strip. Rated 13A 125V (1625W) total across both legs.
Lighter 18 AWG splitters top out at 10A; this cord uses 16 AWG copper conductors rated for 13A at 125V, so two typical PCs or monitors run with headroom to spare. Connectors are built to the NEMA 5-15 plug standard and the IEC 60320 C13 coupler standard, with a grounded 3-wire design and a flexible SJT jacket for indoor office use.
