Need to move a rack device further from the PDU, or replace a cord that walked off with the last technician? This IEC C13 to C14 power extension cord puts a C14 male end into any free C13 outlet on a PDU, UPS or surge strip and presents a C13 female end to the equipment inlet, so you add reach without touching the cord already run to the wall. It is built on 18 AWG three-conductor copper with a flexible SJT jacket rated to 105C and carries 10A at 250V, matching the cord most C14-inlet equipment ships with. Fully molded connectors resist cracking where the cable meets the plug. Compatible with any device using a standard IEC 60320 C14 power inlet and any C13 outlet on a PDU, UPS or surge protector; six jacket colors let you tag A-side and B-side feeds on sight. UL Listed, RoHS compliant. Best for: extending or replacing a C13 to C14 cord on equipment drawing 10A or less. Not for: wall outlets, C19/C20 or C5/C7 equipment, or loads above 10A.
Drop this power cord extension between the outlet strip and the gear instead of pulling a whole new run. The C14 male end goes into a spare C13 outlet on a PDU, UPS or surge strip; the C13 female end goes onto the equipment inlet. Lengths from 1 to 25 ft cover the short hop between adjacent rack units and the long reach to a desk or wall strip, and it works as a power cord extender or a replacement when the original is lost or damaged.
Undersized cordage runs hot and drops voltage under load. This power extension cable uses three 18 AWG copper conductors inside a flexible SJT thermoplastic jacket rated to 105C, carrying 10A at 250V - the same rating supplied with most C14-inlet equipment, so it swaps in without derating the circuit. UL Listed. Meets RoHS and REACH material requirements.
Available in black, red, blue, white, green and yellow so redundant A-side and B-side feeds can be told apart at the back of a rack without tracing a cable by hand. Fully molded connectors and integral strain relief resist cracking where the cord meets the plug, and the SJT jacket stays flexible in cable arms and tight bends. 18 AWG three-conductor copper throughout, indoor rated for racks, data centers, offices and workstations.
Each production run is sample-tested for continuity, polarity and current rating before it ships. Manufactured to RoHS environmental standards. If your cord arrives defective or stops working in normal use, Cable Leader handles the replacement request directly - no manufacturer redirects.
