All four SuperSpeed pairs and both sideband pins are wired, with an E-Marker chip for safe PD negotiation, foil-plus-braid double shielding, 24 AWG power conductors, and fully molded strain relief at both ends. Compatible with MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, Surface Pro, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, Steam Deck, and Samsung T7 or SanDisk Extreme portable SSDs, plus USB-C docks and monitors - it does not reach Thunderbolt 40Gbps speeds or charge above 60W. One USB-C connection covers what a laptop desk setup normally needs three cables for: pull a large project file off an external NVMe SSD at 10Gbps, run a 4K monitor at 60Hz through DisplayPort Alt Mode, and charge at up to 60W. Useful on a laptop with only two USB-C ports, in a bag where one cable has to serve both the drive and the charger, and at a hot desk or dock.
A cable that only wires the USB 2.0 pins will charge but will not carry SuperSpeed data or video. This one wires all four SuperSpeed pairs plus both sideband (SBU) pins, so USB 3.2 Gen 2 at 10Gbps and DisplayPort Alt Mode at 4K/60Hz both work. An E-Marker chip negotiates 60W (20V/3A) Power Delivery fast charging safely, and 24 AWG power conductors hold voltage steady under load.
Foil plus braid shielding wraps the SuperSpeed pairs, which is what keeps a 10Gbps link stable instead of falling back to USB 2.0 speed when the cable is coiled behind a desk. Power conductors are 24 AWG copper and the contacts are gold-plated. Both connectors are fully molded with reinforced strain relief at the neck, the point where thin cables usually fail first, and both ends are reversible.
