Mic cable not quite reaching the mixer, or the stage box sitting further away than your existing run allows? This Cable Leader extension cable adds length between a 3-pin XLR male output and a 3-pin XLR female input, keeping the balanced audio path intact for microphones, mixers, preamps, powered speakers, and stage snakes. Built with 22 AWG stranded copper conductors, dual shielding (aluminum foil plus spiral copper braid), and a flexible 6.0 mm PVC jacket that coils down without kinking. Works with Shure, Audio-Technica, Rode, Sennheiser, Behringer, Yamaha, Mackie, and Focusrite gear using standard 3-pin XLR connectors - it does not convert to 1/4 in TRS, 3.5 mm, Speakon, or USB. Balanced 3-pin wiring (pin 1 shield, pin 2 hot, pin 3 cold) rejects hum and RF interference over long runs. Best for: extending an existing microphone or line-level XLR run. Not for: passive speaker output or replacing an XLR-to-USB interface. RoHS compliant.

Stop repatching the whole stage because one cable is three feet short. This extension drops inline between your existing microphone cable and the mixer, snake, or preamp input, adding reach for vocal mics on stage, podcast and streaming desks, church and conference rooms, and portable PA setups. Standard 3-pin XLR male on one end, 3-pin XLR female on the other, so it mates directly with the mic cable you already own.
Long runs pick up lighting buzz, dimmer hash, and RF from nearby wireless gear - this cable uses two shield layers, an aluminum foil wrap plus a 48-strand spiral copper braid, to drain that interference before it reaches your preamp. Conductors are 22 AWG stranded copper with PVC insulation, sized to hold level over distance. Wiring is standard balanced - pin 1 shield, pin 2 hot, pin 3 cold - so phase stays correct.
Works with Shure, Audio-Technica, Rode, Sennheiser, Behringer, Yamaha, Mackie, and Focusrite XLR gear. Quick check: Extending a mic cable to the mixer - Yes. Line-level XLR between mixer and powered speaker - Yes. Passive speaker run from an amp - No, use Speakon or speaker cable. Mic straight into a computer - No, an XLR-to-USB interface is required. For 1/4 in or 3.5 mm gear, use an XLR-to-TRS cable instead.
Zinc alloy connector shells with nickel-plated contacts resist corrosion and hold a firm grip in the receptacle, and the female end latches to the male pins so the cable does not fall out mid-set. A flexible 6.0 mm PVC jacket coils back onto the reel without memory kinks, and molded strain relief at both ends takes the pull instead of the solder joints. Built for gear bags, road cases, and cables that get stepped on.
Each cable is sample-tested during production for continuity, shield integrity, and correct pin-to-pin wiring. Manufactured to RoHS environmental standards (lead, mercury, and cadmium-free). If your cable arrives defective or stops working in normal use, Cable Leader handles replacement requests directly - no manufacturer redirects.
