Induction cooking is the best! The lock function is important to prevent accidental turn on. Dials are sensitive to touch and calibrate heat well. Gray glass finish is very contemporary and looks great in our contemporary kitchen.

This cooktop is even better than I had anticipated. When you are told that water boils a lot fast with induction you can believe it. Very attractive. Simple layout. I haven't used the smart pan that came with it, yet. I myself like the special cookware. I like the heavy feel. I wish we had purchased one a long time ago. It is expensive, but the more I use it the more I think it is worth it.

Looks very nice but there is 1 very large 11” burner, 1small size 7” and 2 8” that connect. The 2 that connect are so close to each other that you can’t put 2 separate pans to cook. And most pots and pans are not this size. Very hard to find induction pots and pans that fit these burners. Otherwise, it’s only been a few weeks and I like the fast induction cooking. Also if the surface gets greasy or your hands are wet, hard to turn on!

After years of cooking over gas, I knew there’d be a learning curve, and I’m getting there. Judging the heat by watching the flame is replaced with a very responsive temperature change with the digital controls…fast hot and fast cooling. Cleanup is so much easier.

Cafe Induction Cook Top is well made and one of the nicest options due to the gray color glass instead of black glass. Goes well with new countertop. This is our first time using induction.
