I really wanted the GE Cafe 8 1/2 in drop in cooktop. I thought $2600 was a bit steep with all of the remodeling costs I have incurred. I chose this one because it still had a fast burner with more BTUs than the less expensive models. It also came with a griddle. It works great!

we are really enjoying the purchase of Cafe 36" Cooktop...it looks great and all 5 stoves are great for different levels and quantities of cooking. The stainless steel is easier to clean and matches with the rest of appliances we have at home. The installation team did great explaining operational aspects and were quite supportive.

Good unit. Like it. I am a contractor and sold to my client it’s a nice looking unit for a good price. It’s performance is very good too.

Looks great and cooks well. Love the two boiling burners and how the are positioned.

Classy and retro. Levels up our kitchen. The magic touch-the gold knobs have LeD lighting. Gorgeous!

The installation teams did a very poor job resulting in multiple interaction with Bestbuy and a followup tech visit but once they installed it successfully it operated as advertised.

Cooktop looks great but is also versatile. Have options for cooking that we didn't have with prior cooktop.

Love it really nice and match my kitchen I had same brand but different cook top and both of them fast nice and easy to clean

did a propane conversion, took a little trial and error to get the burners so that the burn was even. cooking is good, consistent. Just found out that what looks and feels like metal knobs isn't, and the coating is starting to come off in a little over a years use,

the sales person was very helpful and said he would get back to us within 24 hrs and actually called back within 1 hour

Only have it for a week. So far so good. Everything looks pretty simple and fine to operate if properly thinking brain involved. Overall it is a good product.

Cafe cooktop is excellent and looks fabulous a great addition to my new and modern kitchen.
