Q: What is the width in inches of the keyboard tray?
A: The keyboard shelf is 20.75 inches wide and 13 inches deep.
Q: Do you think this desk would work well with a dual mount?
A: I actually have a dual monitor mount on this desk using two 24 inch Asus monitors. I used an Avio clamp on desk type mount. No issues at all.
Q: Are the side extenders be removed and put back at any time?
A: Their is metal brackets that is holding the self on top by 2 screws. The bracket under neath is easy to remove it’s a turn nob. I would probably leave selves on, it gives you more space. If you want to keep removing self you would have a bracket attached to shelf .it would be a pain. But the unit itself is very sturdy and nice
