Upgraded from the 5D Mkiii to the R8, and can say that my Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 works perfectly for both photos and videos! Already used for paid professional projects, it saved me both money and hassle to quickly transition bodys without needing to trade or purchase new lenses for the time being.

Amazing amazing great product works good Have no issues

I have a bunch of EF lenses that needed to mount to the RF body. This adapter lets me do that. This adapter doesn't have the control ring, but if you want to same money, that shouldn't mater. I ended up upgrading to the control ring adapter a few days later just in case I want to use that feature later.

The Canon EF-EOS R Lens Mount Adapter is an essential accessory for photographers transitioning to the EOS R system without having to abandon their existing EF and EF-S lenses. This adapter facilitates seamless integration of older lenses with the new mirrorless technology, maintaining image quality and autofocus speed without compromise. Its sturdy construction and precise fit ensure a secure connection between camera and lens, while full compatibility with Canon's extensive lens lineup offers a flexible and cost-effective solution for photographers wishing to continue using their current equipment. In short, the Canon EF-EOS R Adapter is a must-have for any Canon photographer making the leap to mirrorless without wanting to compromise.

This allows me to still be able to utilize my EF mount lenses for my RF mount camera body. It’s easy to install and break down when not in use and comes with a handy case to store it in.

Fits great, was worried about getting a 3rd party model from fears that they would be loose. Makes using my EF lenses a breeze, and I don't have to get rid of all my old lenses. No speed issues, in fact a couple of lenses actually seem to perform faster. Best buy purchase was easy, arrived in reasonable amount of time considering Covid shipping issues.

Works well no issues, was able to use my EF lens. Will recommend

It snuggly secures into the camera just like a regular lens would and secures the lens into the adapter just as well. Makes any ef lens work just like an rf lens would.

I have a Canon R5 and R6ii. These lets me use my older, but still viable EF lenses for clear beautiful shots.

Love how easy it is to use with my rf camera. Have a few ef lens that i have used.

I upgraded to the R6 after using EOS DSLRs, but still wanted to keep all of my lenses and I'm glad this is here so I can upgrade my camera quality, but keep the same equipment I had previously!

This adapter gives new life to your old EF lenses. On a mirrorless system the auto focus works even faster than before. RF lenses are limited and expensive. The adapter is the perfect solution until the next RF lens comes along.

It works good, it’s just a little frustrating I have to buy multiple pieces just to put my nice lens on my new camera. I wish the lens worked for all canon cameras. Now it’s just super bulky, the lens I have is a 24-70mm so it’s already a big lens, now this adds more weight.

Perfect addition to be able to use my EF lenses on my new camera!

I placed this adapter on my 500mm mkll and attached my r6 and the adaptation began. Great experience, works as described. I couldn’t ask for anything better to combine my new camera to an ef lens. Focus is fast and spot on. This adapter fit both camera and lens perfectly. Canon hit this one out of the park.

Works exactly as expected. No setup or any configuration, just install it and it works. Lets you use your existing EF lenses just like you are used to.

? Works really Well, I placed a ? Mark only because you Have to have this Adapter for your EF lenses to Work. Overall it works great, looks good on camera. love the idea that the EOS R is the Future of Canon Camera's. Cant wait till price comes down on RF Lenses. Would love to own one. Little Pricey for me at the moment.

I was a bit skeptical about the compatibility issues that I may face due to the adopter, but as of now even after 6 months of use, never encountered any flaws, except one or twice there was an random error message while using SD card from Sony camera i remember. Well worth, so i do not need to buy all set of new lenses.

I love that I got to keep my EF lenses. This adapter is all you need. It's easy to put on and easy to remove. I looked at the two other adapters and settled on this one. I don't use filters and three different wheels control the ISO, shutter speed and f stop. Very happy with my choice.

[Employee of bestbuy] Awesome product. Works great so i can use my old ef macro lenses.
