Having used many interactions of previous Canon DSLR's (rebel XT, 60D, 70D, 80D etc) This is my first full frame. Overall speed of the camera seems vastly improved, as well as shutter noise. Having been a heavy user of SD cards in my previous cameras, I have started to grow fond of the dual memory card slots. And am using the CF cards more and more due to the ruggedness and durability. My only complaint other than the obvious price difference, is I wish I could use all my APS-C lenses with this camera ;(

This camera takes wonderful photos. If you already have EF lenses then don't buy the kits as I do not believe you're saving money by purchasing the bundle. You're better off buying the body and purchasing the lens that you actually want separately. The 24-70 lens in bundle is f4. Maybe save up for the f2.8 version? Camera takes great photos with 24x70 f4 lens. I also used Canon 50mm f1.4 and 85mm f1.8 with this cameras which yielded wonderful results. Get a good lens, tripod, some extra batteries and you're all set. I wish it had an articulating LCD screen which could be quite useful for shooting video at different angles. I did not shoot video in 4K but to my understanding it takes up a lot more space than other camcorders which shoot in that format.

Crazy good. Best overall camera camera from Canon, in my humble opinion. Not as many fps as the 1D, but still good for sports. 4K video as well. Well-balanced camera for a photojournalist or avid photographer.

I have been shooting video and photography for my jobs on this camera for about 2 years and honestly, this camera is a beast. My only complaint is the size and weight can be a bit taxing but I probably just need to do some push ups lol

Well-rounded camera. You can do a lot of things with it. Sports, low light, etc.

This camera has so many options and does an awesome job taking pictures. It is definitely the top of the line for Canon. It is a huge expense but worth it.
