Love the versatility of this camera, takes some learning of all the settings, but if you do your research the learning comes easy!!!! And the results are amazing!

Best camera for close up shots and macro shots LOVE IT!!

The only reason I purchased this particular camera is because of the sick 10 frame per second shutter speed. As a wildlife photographer, that feature was difficult to pass up. Not only that, but the write speed to the card is also fast. Just for giggles, I held the shutter button down to see how long it would shoot continuously before buffering. After a 30 seconds I released the shutter and it still hadn't buffered. It would have gone longer than that, but 30 seconds was proof enough for me. I upgraded to this camera from the Canon T6s, which had a touch screen, and other really nice features that this camera doesn't have. which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Granted, this particular model is three years old, I'm sure the next iteration will have a touch screen. In the meantime, I'll have to be satisfied using the multi-controller. I shoot outdoors predominantly, and don't do much studio work, which is where the Wi-Fi adapter would have come in handy, but it's still a nice feature to have. I simply don't have the need to use my phone or tablet to control the camera. The GPS feature is also very cool, because with the software I use, I can show people exactly where a particular shot was taken using Google Maps or Google Earth. Just remember to turn the GPS feature off when storing your camera or it will murder your battery! It's not a Full Frame camera, it's an APS-C. But it's still a versatile camera to shoot with.

Great camera! A bit heavy after coming from a Rebel T5. I was able to overcome that after a few days.

This is a big step up from the last dslr I had and at first it was overwhelming but once you read and reread the manual and start playing with it, you can do wonders with it. Excellent control of focus points and amazing in tracking a subject. No regrets and well worth the money.

I did a lot of comparisons before deciding on the 7D MkII - and the camera doesnt disappoint. Image quality is great, iso range is deep and the video results were much better than expected. A major upgrade from my well loved 40D

7D Mark II is an excellent camera. Control placement is perfect and the autofocus is extremely quick.

I waited and researched all the Canon cameras. I found this camera has every feature I need. I have a 7d Canon now. I'm very happy with it. But I have used it really hard over the past 5 yrs. so I know these are Great tools for my hobby.

This is a great camera for someone looking to get into DSLR photography. It’s not simple by any means but very much worth every penny and ounce of effort it takes to learn the camera. YouTube is your friend when it comes to tutorials.

I bought this as an upgrade to my Rebel T5 and t has been worth every penny. The pictures are amazing. I have been shooting portraits, buildings and landscapes using the kit, luxury and prime lens and the pictures are spectacular.

I have taken pictures of activities (action) for years. My other uses are for landscapes and family photos. There are many settings, and I don’t have it mastered. Heavy! I knew that when purchasing.
