Its autofocus system expands coverage and uses deep learning to recognize faces, eyes, animals, and birds, even during high-frame-rate recording. Simultaneous 2K crop recording delivers ready-made vertical or square formats for social media, and a native vertical UI provides an optimized control layout. Internally, the C50 supports XF-AVC, XF-AVC S, XF-HEVC S, and multiple RAW Light modes, while anamorphic de-squeeze options allow accurate monitoring. Professional production features include dual card slots for CFexpress and SD, a detachable top handle with two XLR inputs, HDMI output, timecode, USB-C, and an intelligent hot shoe.
