Powered by the DIGIC X image processor borrowed from the EOS R3, the R10 supports high-speed performance including up to 23 fps continuous shooting with a silent electronic shutter or 15 fps with a mechanical shutter, with AF and AE calculations before each frame. It offers a wide ISO range of 100–32000, expandable to ISO 51200 for challenging lighting conditions. Video capabilities include UHD 4K 8-bit recording at up to 60p using a cropped sensor area or 30p using oversampled 6K capture for improved sharpness, reduced moiré, and lower noise, along with Full HD 120p slow-motion recording. Included is the Canon RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM Lens, designed for APS-C R Series cameras, offering a 29–72mm equivalent zoom range in a compact, retractable design ideal for everyday carry. The lens features two aspherical elements and Super Spectra Coating to reduce aberrations, ghosting, and flare, along with Optical Image Stabilization providing up to 4 stops of correction or up to 6 stops with Coordinated IS. The STM autofocus system delivers fast, smooth, and quiet focusing suitable for both photo and video.
