The PowerShot V1 is equipped with an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens that is equivalent to a 17-52mm lens for Full Frame cameras (16-50mm when taking still photos) with an aperture range of F2.8-11 at the wide-angle setting, making it ideal for vlogging without the worry about changing lenses. A built-in 3-stop ND filter is available, for bright outdoor lighting conditions, so you are ready to shoot, wherever you are.
Capture subjects in large detail by focusing down to 5.9 inches. This enables richly expressive close-up shots using the wide angle of view and bokeh that a wide-angle lens can provide.
Larger than the sensors typically found on compact cameras, the newly designed 1.4-type CMOS sensor, has 22.3 megapixels for still images (18.7 megapixels for video), giving you enhanced image quality which provides a shallower depth of field, better light performance, improved Dynamic Range and greater ISO performance.
The PowerShot V1 features a cooling fan to keep internal components frm getting too hot, allowing for unlimited continuous shooting at 4K60P. The fan pulls heat from the sensor and vents it out the side to prevent overheating, which extends recording times and ensures consistency during long shoots.
