I bought this digital piano as something which would compliment my real piano and allow me to play without disturbing the neighbors at night without comprising the weighed keys and full range of 88-keys. I did some research before purchasing this Casio model at Best Buy and most customers really liked its warm sound, though still slightly synthetic sounding. Overall there were good things said, so I went ahead and made the purchase. The set up was fairly easy — the instructions well written. The only issue I have with the whole setup is that the piano and the 3 pedals have to be screwed into the stand so it may be a hassle for anyone who needs to transport it for a gig. There are quirks to this keyboard, but they're small enough that it doesn't really hinder my decision to rate it so highly. The first is that the power button is on the side with the two headphone jacks and can be difficult to find. Its nice that this keyboard has two headphone jacks though (for the price), giving it some possibilities for duets or even an option to have a monitor. The second is that the options for sounds are limited. You have three piano types: modern, classic, dampened. No EQ adjustments or anything, but I find the classic sound to be enjoyable enough. If I'm not satisfied with how things sound, I just plug the usb cord into the back and attach it to a Mac to establish a MIDI connection to get a Steinway sound. The MIDI is the pleasant surprise you get with this product. No much is mentioned about the MIDI-connectivity in product specs or reviews, but the connection there and its simply USB (as opposed to those bulky cords traditionally used in MIDI setups)

We bought this digital piano when we sold our upright -- it was perfect for the size/weight/sound of an apartment. The headset option is ideal. The only negatives are no bench/stool and no dust cover for the keys. Otherwise, sound and price are great.

Its hard to imagine that this Casio keyboard is what it is, a keyboard. It truly sounds and feels like real piano. This was one of the best purchases i have ever made because not only does it plays beautiful sounds but it brings the family together. In my opinion every house-hold should have a piano. Don't know how to play? Me neither at the time, but with some youtube videos I learned the basics in less than a month. So you can too. O yeah its also very well priced compared to other keyboard pianos i have seen on the market. Plus this one brings a keyboard stand and peddles as well.

This full size weighted keyboard fits great in my small bedroom with its narrow and yet solid frame. holds together nicely for its weight and slim trim. clean black finish, looks good Anywhere. This digital piano has full pedal control, song selection, multiple sound adjustments and even recording, all for a great price. Grand piano feel, excellent headphone quality, Very easy to move for a non-portable intended digital piano.

I was looking for a piano to have my family start learning on. I have played for many years and was tired of the Yamaha 76-key machine that we had, this keyboard has been a great investment. First, the workmanship is solid. It looks and feels like a professional keyboard. The wood frame has pedals that integrate into it and you can't easily tell where the frame ends and the keyboard begins. Second, the weighted keys are done right. The lower notes are weighted more than the higher notes just like a real acoustic piano. You can feather the keys to get very soft sounds out of this keyboard just like an acoustic piano. Third, the grand piano option sounds like a grand piano. With the exception of some fading at the top end of the register. I can only tell because I regularly play on a acoustic grand piano. I would recommend this piano to anyone who wants to learn to play piano seriously but does not want to purchase a fully acoustic "real" piano.

I like it so much I've recommended it to a friend, who bought one and says she loves it. My brother, who has a Sohmer piano, tried out my Privia recently and said it's an incredible bargain for the great quality. It has all three pedals, and everything about the piano and stand works great. Plus it looks great with the stand, which is very easy to set up.

This keyboard is just what my wife wanted for playing at night while others are sleeping. This is used mostly with headphones. The stand is very sturdy when assembled properly. Speaker output is O.K. could be more powerful. The weighted keys are close to our two acoustic pianos. Remember that this is not a top of the line electric piano and as in all purchases you get what you pay for. That being said we are very happy with this Casio so far.

My wife had the urge to get back to playing a piano 40 years after taking lessons. Anytime we were in a store with electric pianos to try, she would play them. She wanted keys that felt like a real piano but not the cost that comes with buying a real piano (yet). I bought this model as a last minute Xmas present for her, and she is happy. Grandkids have banged away as well and, thus far, everyone loves it. I have yet enforced the "headphone only" rule because the piano sounds pretty darned good.

I could not try the Casio PX-135 before purchasing, but was pleasantly surprised after the easy setup. It's well made and the key action is realistic. Relying on other reviews I am very happy with this purchase. Sound quality and though limited with available instruments it's a good bargain for the price. Highly recommend if you are the occasionally player and don't have the space for a regular size piano.

No complaints with this product. It does not take up much room but yet has the sound and quality of a baby grand piano.

I'm a music major in need of a practice piano and found this was perfect for me. First off, this is about $100 cheaper as set than buying the separate piano, stand, and pedals at a regular music store. Design goes great next to today's computers with it's sharp edges and clean curves. The keys are weighted and a bit heavier than an acoustic piano. This actually helps me because the pieces are easier to play once I'm on a real piano. I'm unsure about how real the sound is, but there are different settings to adjust the brightness of sound so fix it to your liking. Just don't expect it to remember your setting. Little things I thought were nice: Two headphone jacks. Maybe one for you and the other for your instructor or to the computer for recording. And it came with a rather large music book with pieces from just about every piano era and difficulty.

Clear sound, many different options like jazz version piano sound, organ version, classic, electro and much more. In addition you can record what you play and you can play with headsets to not bother your neighbors. On the top it just looks cool.

This piano is great! Nice sound, looks very nice and modern, not bulky or wobbly. Now we feel like we have a "real" piano, but did not have to pay the real" piano price. Plus, it's light and easy to move.

I love it because I live in a mobile home and it is perfect for that reason and for the price I will keep it its my baby. Sometimes I wonder if my wife gets upset with me because I do not let anyone play on it or touch it.

Purchsed this piano for my wife this past Christmas. It sounds like a real grand piano and the 88 weighted keys feel like a real grand piano. I would definitely recommend this piano!
