Q: Max amp is 8.8, and each port is 2.2 amp, how does it fit all 7 ports? does that means when we use all 7 ports, the amp will drop less than 2 amp each?

A: Yes, it dropped amperage once all ports were used. Absolute waste of money. Pass this item up and don't make the mistake I did by purchasing this product.

Q: I am looking at the charge Hub X7-port USB Super Charger $89.99 and am going to china can I use this device with a plug that converts from U.S. power to 220 volts without destroying what I may plug into the super charger?

A: This unit is just like any other - it requires whatever voltage of the country you are in, to power it up. But going into the unit, 110 volts ONLY. Step up and step down transformers accomplish this task, for any device from America you want to use in another country. In this case a step DOWN transformer will be required, from 220 to 110. Most of China uses 220 volts AC - Hong Kong uses 200 - where you will need that step down. But according to my Google search Taiwan uses 110 VAC, where you won't need the step down. The fact that China uses 50 Hz rather than America's 60 Hz is irrelevant in this application of just charging batteries, as in the charging process the AC gets stripped down to DC anyway. This is not true of all devices of course. Like turntables and tape decks.
