Charvel - Pro-Mod Series San Dimas PJ IV Electric Bass Guitar, Sonic Blue

Under the spotlight of the stage or in the comfort of your own home, the Pro-Mod Series San Dimas PJ IV Electric Bass Guitar stands out with its sleek alder body shape, a design reminiscent of the original Charvel San Dimas basses from the late 1970s. This classic design features a deeper cutaway, providing adventurous bassists with effortless access to the upper register. The Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJ IV is equipped with a super-thin bolt-on maple Charvel speed neck, crafted in the original style. This neck boasts a beautiful caramelized treatment, graphite reinforcement, and a heel-mount truss rod wheel for easy adjustments. The 12"-16" compound radius caramelized maple fingerboard gradually flattens from nut to heel, ensuring fast, smooth playing. With rolled edges, 20 jumbo frets, and Luminlay side dots, this bass guitar is designed for both comfort and precision.Just like the original models, this electric bass guitar features the powerful voice of DiMarzio pickups. A Model J at the bridge delivers a well-rounded punch, while a Model P in the middle offers a warm, fat tone with a midrange growl when pushed. The versatile electronics include a three-band active EQ, pickup blend control, and a master volume control with a push/pull selector. This innovative feature eliminates the risk of losing sound due to a dead battery, as a quick pull on the volume knob bypasses the EQ's active circuit and regains sound from the bass without the use of battery power. The Pro-Mod Series San Dimas PJ IV Electric Bass Guitar also includes a Charvel HiMass bridge, Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut, and open-gear tuners, all combining for stellar tuning stability with improved note punch and sustain. This 4-string bass is available in electrifying Lime Green Metallic and Mystic Blue finishes, complemented by chrome hardware, cream pickup covers, and a licensed Fender Precision Bass headstock shape. This bass guitar is not just an instrument, but a statement of style and musical prowess.
