Charvel - Pro-Mod Series San Dimas PJ IV MAH Electric Bass Guitar, Natural Mahogany

From the iconic lineage of Charvel San Dimas basses, the Pro-Mod Series San Dimas PJ IV MAH Electric Bass Guitar is a modern rendition of the classic late 1970s design. Its sleek body shape, accentuated by a deeper cutaway, provides adventurous bassists with effortless access to the upper register, reminiscent of the original models. The guitar's super-thin bolt-on maple Charvel speed neck is a tribute to the original style, enhanced with a stunning caramelized treatment for a refined aesthetic. It also features graphite reinforcement for added durability and a heel-mount truss rod wheel for easy adjustment, ensuring optimal playability. The 12"-16" compound radius caramelized maple fingerboard is designed to gradually flatten from nut to heel, facilitating fast, smooth playing. It is further complemented by rolled edges, 20 jumbo frets, and Luminlay side dots for an intuitive playing experience. The Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJ IV MAH is equipped with the dynamic voice of DiMarzio pickups, featuring a Model J at the bridge for a well-rounded punch and a Model P in the middle for a warm, fat tone. When pushed, it delivers a mid-range growl, offering a versatile range of sounds to suit various music genres. The guitar's electronics include a three-band active EQ, pickup blend control, and a master volume control with a push/pull selector. The innovative push/pull selector eliminates the risk of losing sound due to a dead battery, as a quick pull on the volume knob bypasses the EQ's active circuit, ensuring uninterrupted sound without the need for battery power. The Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJ IV MAH also features a Charvel HiMass bridge, Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut, and open-gear tuners, combining to provide stellar tuning stability with improved note punch and sustain. This 4-string bass guitar is available in Natural Mahogany and Satin Ferrari Red finishes, adorned with chrome hardware, cream pickup covers, and a licensed Fender Precision Bass headstock shape, making it a visually striking addition to any musician's collection.
