Charvel - Pro-Mod Series San Dimas PJ IV MAH Electric Bass Guitar, Satin Ferrari Red

Where classic design meets modern innovation, the Pro-Mod Series San Dimas PJ IV MAH Electric Bass Guitar stands as a testament to Charvel's commitment to superior craftsmanship. This instrument draws its inspiration from the original Charvel San Dimas basses of the late 1970s, boasting a sleek body shape with a deeper cutaway that provides bassists with effortless access to the upper register. The Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJ IV MAH is equipped with a super-thin bolt-on maple Charvel speed neck, a feature reminiscent of the original style. This neck is enhanced with a stunning caramelized treatment, graphite reinforcement, and a heel-mount truss rod wheel for easy adjustments. The 12"-16" compound radius caramelized maple fingerboard is designed to gradually flatten from nut to heel, ensuring fast, smooth playing. It also features rolled edges, 20 jumbo frets, and Luminlay side dots for enhanced playability and visibility. The heart of this electric bass guitar lies in its DiMarzio pickups. A Model J at the bridge delivers a well-rounded punch, while a Model P in the middle offers a warm and fat tone, capable of producing a mid-range growl when pushed. The Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJ IV MAH also features versatile electronics, including a three-band active EQ, pickup blend control, and a master volume control with a push/pull selector. This unique feature allows you to bypass the EQ's active circuit and regain sound from the bass without the use of battery power, eliminating the risk of losing sound due to a dead battery. The Charvel HiMass bridge, Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut, and open-gear tuners work together to provide stellar tuning stability, improved note punch, and sustain. This 4-string bass guitar is available in Natural Mahogany and Satin Ferrari Red finishes, complemented by chrome hardware, cream pickup covers, and a licensed Fender Precision Bass headstock shape. In essence, the Pro-Mod Series San Dimas PJ IV MAH Electric Bass Guitar is a fusion of timeless design and modern technology, offering bassists a versatile instrument that delivers both in terms of aesthetics and performance.
