About This Item
The Cisco ATA192-3PW-K9 Multiplatform Analog Telephone Adapter is a 2-port handset-to-Ethernet adapter that turns traditional analog telephones, fax machines, and overhead paging devices into SIP IP endpoints. Designed for enterprise networks, small offices, and hosted cloud unified communications, the ATA 192 features two RJ-11 FXS ports that can be configured independently as two Session Initiation Protocol registrations, plus two 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 Ethernet ports with an integrated high-performance router for extended local network connectivity. It supports G.711, G.729a, G.729ab, and G.726 codecs, real-time T.38 fax relay, echo cancellation, voice activity detection, and comfort noise generation for clear, natural-sounding calls. The ATA 192 works with Cisco Webex Calling, BroadCloud, BroadWorks, Metaswitch, Asterisk, and other third-party SIP call control platforms, with zero-touch cloud provisioning via TR-069, IPv4/IPv6 dual stack, SRTP, SIP over TLS, and a dedicated Problem Reporting Tool button for simplified troubleshooting. An ideal analog-to-VoIP gateway for migrating legacy phones, fax, and paging equipment to modern IP telephony.
