A: So far I am pleased with my WW glass scale. Have had it only a few weeks. No problems. One thought, when you changed the battery, did you slide the new one under the thin contact for + and not break it off or bend it under the battery?

A: You can use a flat head screw driver to twist the cap open.

A: Your best bet would be to contact weight watchers to see if they make a metric scale or just google metric scales.
