A ribbed aluminum housing and integrated write-protection switch distinguish this Core Tech M.2 NVMe enclosure. Enable the switch for read-only access when needed. Accepts one NVMe PCIe SSD in 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280 format. USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C supports transfer rates up to 10Gbps with a suitable host and cable. A USB-C cable with a USB-A adapter is included. USB bus power means no separate AC adapter is needed. Compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux. SSD sold separately. SATA/NGFF and mSATA drives are not supported. Initialize and format new drives before use. Actual speeds depend on the SSD, host and cable.
