This brand new diecast car model features the Aston Martin DBS Gray Metallic (Damaged Version) from the James Bond 007 movie "Quantum of Solace" (2008), produced by Corgi. The limited edition model comes in its original unopened packaging and collector’s display box, featuring real rubber tires, detailed exterior and interior, and is made of diecast metal with some plastic parts. While it does not have any openings, it offers a highly realistic and durable design, with dimensions of approximately 5 inches in length, 2 inches in width, and 1.375 inches in height. The Aston Martin DBS makes a dramatic return in the opening moments of *Quantum of Solace*, picking up immediately after the events of *Casino Royale*, as James Bond is relentlessly pursued by agents of the shadowy organization Quantum. During a high-speed chase along the tunnelled road beside Lake Garda in Italy, the DBS sustains significant damage when it collides with a heavy goods vehicle, resulting in the driver’s door being ripped away. The opening sequence, filmed on location in Italy over 16 days in the spring of 2008, presented numerous challenges due to the long, narrow tunnel in which the car chase took place, making this diecast model a detailed and iconic representation of one of James Bond’s most thrilling cinematic moments.
