Been a few years for me and PC gaming, but I got a gaming laptop and got this mouse while on a $10 sale. Building a gaming desktop for the other half and got her one too. Only tried the one so far with the laptop. The lightweight and adjustable DPI makes it easy for me to enjoy it. I haven't used Photoshop in years but having that adjustability will help even further if I get back into it. Don't judge on the pic, I know I need to get a gaming pad for it next, lol. Definitely recommend!

Snatched this mouse during the black friday doorbuster sale. Got a great deal on it. I like the build quality, this is my first time purchasing a corsair product and will definitely be buying more of their products soon. The precision is great for daily tasks and for gaming. The iCUE software is so..so. You can download it to change the rgb on the corsair emblem and set up different profiles depending on what you will be using the mouse for. Overall its a great mouse specially for gaming. Picked up a second one, for on the go.

Im new to keyboard and mouse and I wanted a nice mouse that wasn't more than I could handle but was still fancy and the harpoon is exactly that.

As a big fan of FPS games, I really wanted a well-built mouse with quick response that fit well in my hand. I've been using an older Razer Deathadder mouse, and it worked well enough, so I wasn't ready to spend a lot on a replacement. Imagine my surprise when I saw the Corsair Harpoon wired RGB mouse in the clearance section for $19.99! For that price, I simply couldn't pass it up. Overall, it's a really comfortable and well-made mouse. Response rates are amazing, and the DPI (speed) can be adjusted on the fly by clicking the button right behind the mouse wheel. Speaking of buttons, they're all very solid and work great. My only complaint (sort of) is that the 2 buttons on the side are recessed a little too far and are nearly flush with the side of the mouse. Probably not a huge issue for most, but for game play, it's not ideal. I deducted 1 star in this review purely for that reason. The Corsair logo lights up and can be synchronized with other Corsair RGB products using their iCUE software. After seeing how well this works with my Corsair RGB water cooling system, I'll probably end up buying a Corsair RGB keyboard to sync all of the lights! Overall, I'm really happy with this mouse, especially at the price. They have a newer version for $29.99, which I think is a steal even at that price. Highly recommended, especially for those looking for a good gaming mouse that won't break the bank.

Needed a mouse for gaming and 3D modeling, wanted it to look professional, be lightweight, and did not want to spend a lot. This mouse is great on all accounts. Material quality is about what you would expect for the cost. The majority of the plastic seems a little on the brittle side, but has a nice feel in the hand. The rubbery portion near the thumb has a nice, grippy texture to it, and doesn't feel gross if your hand gets a little sweaty like some cheaper products. As I said, it is lightweight which I find to be great for gaming and easier on the wrist after long sessions. The Corsair software is pretty average, but haven't had any problems with DPI or LED color tuning. Lastly, the buttons: the scroll wheel has a great tactile feel with every "bump" (which was a MUST for me for switching weapons accurately in FPSs), and the peripheral buttons feel like those you would find in more expensive products as well. Probably a result of the main body plastic being more on the brittle-feeling side, I found the R/L mouse buttons to be a tad more linear to press than I was expecting (as opposed to a very distinct *CLICK* you'll feel on mouses where the RMB/LMB are two separate pieces of plastic from the body), but it grew on me after one night of use. After a month of use, recommended to a friend new to PC gaming and another that is a veteran, and both love it.

Overall a good mouse for the price I picked it up for Ten bucks for my fiancee and she overall really enjoys it. This mouse has 6000 dpi which is actually really surprising at this price point as well as overall not too bad of build quality. The mouse is pretty comfy to the hand and not too cumbersome with a bunch of buttons on the sides. I do like the RGB as well as remapping of each button. However the software is pretty terrible and it's rather difficult to change RGB as well as remap the bindings. I say this comparing to Razer, logitech, and HyperX. Overall definitely not a bad buy if you can get for Ten bucks!

There is really nothing bad to say. Great mouse. The only cons for me were it took a bit to get used to side buttons. Too small for me. And there is no physical disk for the dpi settings. It's a download. But overall good mouse.

Bought this to match my new computer I bought from Best Buy. There weren't any instructions on how to change the colors and what not so it took some time to figure it out. It works great however the button placement for the changing mouse speed is a bit annoying. I find that I bump into it all the time. It doesn't get pressed, but it's annoying bumping into it and when you do, you instantly have to worry about if you accidentally pressed the button too.

Great lightweight mouse. Super responsive and the RGB logo is an added bonus for me. The wire seems a little thin but I don’t think it’s anything concerning. Definitely worth it for the price if you’re wanting looking to buy a starter gaming mouse.

This was my first traditional mouse after years of using a trackball, and I am very happy with the purchase. The mouse is light, the buttons are holding up very well, and the additional programmable keys have been great for gaming. The only downside I can think of is that the software that the mouse is intended to be used with can be a bit daunting at first, though there are plenty of tutorials and guides out there for settings up macros or rebinding custom inputs to the keys on the side of the mouse. Without the software, the side buttons default to forward/back functions, like in an internet browser. Also the corsair logo on the left button is textured so that might occasionally bug you if you're sensitive to that sort of thing. This is a fantastic mouse with just a few frills.

Nice, study and colorful mouse for less than $30 - hard to beat that price. It is perfect for kids playing computer games. More advance players might want to invest more but this is good starting unit.

A great mouse for gamming, and at an affordable price.

When my old razer mouse had a software malfunction I was not in a position to spend $80 on a replacement. Because of this I decided to buy the Harpoon gaming mouse from Corsair for a cheaper alternative. For 30 bucks I think it is the best bang for your buck mouse out there. Pros - 2 programmable buttons, middle DPI switch, and rgb lighting Cons - The mouse buttons are verry sensitive, almost too sensitive and causes you to click on things when you graze a finger across it. The mouse is also very light so it was hard to get used to after using a high end, razer gaming mouse that had a decent weight to it. Other Thoughts - I would definitely suggest this mouse if you are just getting into PC gaming or if you are in a pinch for money, but if you have the means to do so, go with a higher end mouse because it will most likely last longer and produce better results.

I initially bought this mouse to use it with my laptop. I found that the cable's position where it comes out of the mouse would continuously touch the USB port of my laptop. This bothered me because I would have to extend my hand farther from my laptop. However, if you use it with your desktop, this is a great mouse. The colors are bright and you can control the speed at which the light changes. You can also change the pointer speed for each of the 5 settings this mouse allows in its DPI. The mouse's size and design is comfortable to hold for hours. If you use the official iCUE software, you can even remap some of its buttons.
