Pretty great little keyboard. I bought this to replace my previous Corsair board which I purchase in 2010 and now only the keys work and not the lights or other buttons. This keyboard is slightly smaller which I like so my hands are closer together while gaming. The lights are bright and match up well with other Corsair gear. Corsair software has improved over the years but still could use some work here and there. Corsair hardware is very solid. The only thing I wish this board had were dedicated volume buttons. The main reason I bought this size keyboard over a 60% size keyboard is, of course, for the arrow keys.

Great keyboard for anyone wanting easy clicks that take low pressure. Very pretty LED lighting and well constructed. If you like having to apply a little more pressure to click buttons you way want to try another keyboard.

So there's a few things to keep in mind with this keyboard. If you're not used to a "fast" actuating switch like these at 1.0mm then you WILL make tons of typing errors right off the bat. Just know that the learning curve is fairly steep with this as you cannot lazily type or rest your fingers because it will actuate the keys and create errors or mis-pressed buttons in game. Trust though it is worth it in the end when you do get used to it as everything is just easier. Off the bat this is an excellent keyboard on par with all the other more recent corsair has released, which is awesome. Normally the K60 versions of the keyboards are watered down versions of the k70 line up. This though without media keys (has Fn functions for them instead) looks and feels premium to the touch. First thoughts on the keyboard itself is that the build is spot on where it should be. The cable it comes with feels a little cheap but that's to be expected, and keep in mind you may use any USB C cable you have because it is detachable. The key caps unfortunately are ABS plastic and that comes with the look and feel of such aka higher pitch sound when typing, sticky feeling to the skin etc. I highly recommend you invest in pbt keycaps if you go with this as its a night and day difference in feel in use. Corsair makes a great set themselves and there are several others available upon search for double shot PBT keycaps. The entire point of having a switch that actuates this high up on the press so you can perform in-game actions that much faster. This is done well with the newer OPX optical switches they use on this. They feel VERY smooth when in use and I dare say they feel extremely similar to the praised smooth omni point switches on a competitors board. The sound on this is as you would think on a K60 variant whereas with the ABS keycaps its not a deep sound but more of a higher pitched, again can be changed out easily to the PBT keycaps to resolve. There is no foam in the case and with a plastic bottom plate it creates a hollow noise common with a lot of keyboards these days but the overall sound is not overwhelming by any means. The stabs on this are actually very good except the spacebar which still has the standard corsair "rattle" to it. Again, this can be resolved if you are a tinker type and wish to lube them this takes the slack right up and makes this thing sound great! The RGB is VERY good as are most with ABS keycaps like these. The shine is perfect and the switches on the aluminum top plate make for a great visual experience. The adjustment on the bottom is only 8 degrees so keep that in mind if your one that likes a different slant to your board. Overall im not that much a fan of a super fast switch like these at 1.0mm i much prefer a switch at least 1.5mm but i can say with the buttery smooth opx switches and a decent actuation force this didn't take that long to get used to to stop making the initial errors i was making while typing and gaming. Once you do get past that point you'll find yourself just saying to yourself that you can sure crank on these keys because it feels just good to use. With an industry leading 8k polling rate and these switches makes for an ultra fast experience for sure. At this price point I highly recommend this along with a set of pbt keycaps to go with and for the ultimate package look into some modding if you really want to quiet down the stabilizers.

This review is written from the perspective of someone who doesn't normally use gaming keyboards or mechanical keyboards. The keyboard does feel like it's made with good quality - the cherry mx switches have a snappy, tactile response to them. This is clearly great for gaming as you need that sort of feedback when pressing your keys. Moreover, the keyboard just has this durable feel to it. Not normally a fan of RGB lighting, but the lighting on this keyboard is rather bright if you're into that sort of feature. However when it comes to typing like a normal keyboard, I find the keyboard a bit lacking. Keep in mind this is coming from someone who normally uses keyboards with flat keys. There seems to be a bit of a learning curve when typing with taller keys. Nevertheless, I keep on finding myself making a lot of typos. Sometimes I feel like the keys are too sensitive, mostly the 's' and 'l' keys. It can't just be my typing since I normally use three other keyboards without an issue. Of course the biggest difference is that this one has taller keys. If you're someone who is used to using a keyboard with taller keys, you might be able to ignore this section, but I'm writing from a perspective of someone who wants to use a mechnical/gaming keyboard with tall keys for the first time. Overall, a great keyboard for gaming no doubt. However when it comes to normal typing, you may find yourself making a lot of mistakes if this is your first keyboard with taller keys.

I have a lot of keyboards. My favorites are Drop ALT/CRL with brown keys. That gives you a baseline of where I stand when it comes to keyboards. I have keyboards specifically for gaming, and this one is a good one. This keyboard uses Cherry MX Silver keys, and they are FAST, so be careful if you buy this keyboard and like to set your fingers on the keys. They will register. You barely need to touch the keys to get a keystroke, so if your twitchy while playing, you probably won't be able to blame the keyboard not getting a press at the right time. I'm a fan of the TKL layout. TKL stands for "Ten Key-Less." The only reason you would want ten-key when gaming is if you game left handed (I DO but can live with this layout). The layout is much bigger than boards like the ALT, but smaller than a Drop CTRL. I would say it's just small enough to bring with you on gaming travels. There's no case, and it does require a cable because it doesn't have wireless anything. An app you can download is how you adjust the lighting and other options. Now, for typing... this keyboard doesn't work for me because it's so sensitive. You only really need the lightest of touch so if you miss even slightly, you'll get multiple key presses. If you tend to type lightly, this will be a good keyboard for you. There is positive feedback when you press down on every key, but it's not clacky like a Cherry blue or brown... it's a muted click. It's still louder than if you decide to use key switch rubber ring bumpers. If you want a silent key, I highly suggest you buy some and install them immediately. The case of the keyboard is solid. It's made of a light aluminum, so although it's not a heavy keyboard, it still seems durable. It however doesn't scream quality either, which is a weird thing in a product. A lot of it has to do with the gamer glyphs and typeface Corsair uses on the keyboard. I'm not really a fan. The keys themselves are light and decent quality, but they don't have any grit to them so I assume they'll get oily over time. This does not seem to be doubleshot or other higher manufacturing tier key. If you're coming from a membrane keyboard or butterfly like a Mac or Surface, you will find it hard to type on. You really need to use a light touch, but I can see someone getting used to it and getting really fast. There is no friction on the switches, it's very linear, so you aren't going to get a positive feel out of it unless you bottom out the stroke. When I'm not gaming, I do a lot of Excel so I can't afford errant keystrokes. I found that working with this keyboard was dangerous for precision or editing. I can't tell you how many times I had a wayward "k" or "d" inserted somewhere. If you're oldschool and keep your hands resting on the home keys, it might become infuriating. - Good value, I'm surprised by the price! - Good action for GAMING - Not great for productivity - no case... for a board that would be a good traveler

The Corsair K60 Pro TKL is a very nice keyboard overall. This was my first time using a TKL keyboard which took a while to get used to as I use my numpad frequently. I am not letting that affect my overall rating though as I understand a lot of people don't use it at all. I only took a star away because after looking at other keyboards on the market, I do not believe that this keyboard holds a strong value at $130. I believe the best price range for this keyboard to sell well, would be closer to $115-100. A lot of keyboards in this price range come with other accessories such as a braided cable and/or wrist rest, which this keyboard has neither. That being said, the K60 Pro TKL is still a great looking/feeling keyboard and the RGB is very bright and looks great. Unfortunately, with having it early, I could not customize the RGB in the iCue software as it wasn't recognized in the software yet so I could not see if it could have multiple profiles set either. I would actually love this keyboard as a wireless option which may come in the future hopefully. Dimensions: 359 x 136 x 36mm or 14.2 x 5.36 x 1.42 inches Weight: 0.7kg/1.55lbs Pros: High Quality Materials Fast response OPX keyswitches, great for first person shooters (up to 8,000 hz polling rate) Switches feel great Lightweight Cons: No Braided Cable No wrist rest Not the best Value compared to other options on the market Lacks programmable buttons or features such as color/profile cycling buttons (probably no on board memory for different color profiles)

compact, well designed keyboard. I like the fact you can do macros. The keys feel nature under my fingers. The only thing I don't care for is the lighting effect. Who cares about rainbow raindrops? It doesn't make you play any better

Excellent keyboard for the price, I’ve had this keyboard for a few years and it’s been great, keys still feel great with no sticking or input problems. My only complaint is with the Icue software to control the rgb, it was great until a recent update that removed some of my favorite lighting features

This is an optical-mechanical keybaord, so the switches on this particular board arent swappable with like, Cherry MX switches. So if thats important to you, youll want to go with a full mechanical keybaord rather than this. The switches themselves are hyper smooth and linear with no real weight. A keystroke is registered with as little as 1mm of movement. Incredibly light touch, its a little weird to grt used to coming from a heavier tactile keyboard and switch. Ive randomly started straffing left and right during games while simply resting my fingers on the keys. As for the sound, its not great. While linear and smooth, it sounds kind of hollow and plastic-y. Theres not clicky sounds on keystrokes but the board and keys are quite cheap sounding and feeling. RGB lights are bright and the Corsair app on my pc allows some great customization. Overall, its not a terrible board. I bought it on sale for $70 and if you like a quick responding board and linear style switches, this will work good. Optical switches are the fastest for gaming and are great for that. Just be mindful that theres a slight learning curve coming from a heavier tactile or clicky type switch.

If the rating scale was on a 10-star rather than a five, I'd give it 9/10. 4/5 is too low, but this keyboard isn't 5/5, hence the rating. Build quality is excellent. The OPX switches are great. The RGB fine, though I've just set it to white and static. I'm not using the iCUE software because it's a massive application and I don't need any of the features. Minor shortcomings: 1. Corsair should have used PBT keycaps. The polycarbonate is OK, but they'll definitely wear much faster and they hold on to fingerprints much more than PBT. 2. The actuation distance is too short for me. I'm not using this keyboard for gaming, just for a TON of typing, and I realize the 1mm actuation would help with gaming, but prior to the K60, I was using a keyboard with almost double the distance and slightly heavier actuation force. While the lighter K60 keys are great for long typing sessions, when paired with such a short actuation, sometimes I find that I've been holding down a key when I'm barely just resting my fingers on the keys. So the K60 will require a change of habit, not a big deal, but longer actuation would have been my preference.

Considering the fact that there a only few compact mechanical keyboards, this one is pretty good for gaming as well as wfh purpose. The keys are soft and the feedback provided by them is just right. One may take a couple of days to adjust to the spacing between them but is not too much of a learing curve.

A clean softer feel. Not clicky tactile. Fast instant response. Keycaps wobbles around a bit. Not sure if that's good or bad thing. Not very heavy, but enough not to move around when playing game. Different static colors or RGB lights. Excellent for playing games for sure, but at over $100, just doesn't have that premium feel to me. Let's see how long this one last before the keycaps starts to break off like my old K68.
