Slotted the ram and it only shows up as 3200mhz ddr5. Even tried changing speed in bios which lead to crash

Hello Alex,

Please confirm compatibility before purchase, make sure BIOS is up-to-date and that you're only using 1 kit at a time. If the RAM is still reading as 3200 MHz, please contact support via our website - we'd appreciate the opportunity to assist.

Works like it should, xmp and overclockable. RAM shows up as 3000mhz on cpu-z. Which is normal. The ”6000MHz” speed you see advertised on the kit isn’t actually the clock speed in MHz. That would be the speed in MT/s (Megatransfers per second), which is double the RAM speed in MHz due to modern PCs using DDR, or double data rate memory. The data transfer happens twice per clock tick, so you get 6,000 MT/s (million transfers per second).
