I picked up Corsair’s XTM70 Extreme Performance Thermal Paste for a recent build, and I’ve been genuinely impressed with what it offers — especially for the price. First off, performance-wise, it keeps my i9-14900K cool, even when paired with a mid-range AIO. The 14900K is a notoriously hot chip, but after applying the XTM70, I’ve seen consistently stable temps both at idle and under load. For a thermal paste at this price point, that’s a win in my book. Corsair also gets major points for what they include in the package. You get: • A thermal paste applicator • Cleaning wipes to remove old paste • Paste spreaders to ensure even application That kind of attention to detail is great for anyone who wants to get the most out of their cooling setup — especially if you’re doing this for the first time or upgrading an older build. Finally, it’s not expensive — and in fact, it’s quite affordable compared to some other big-name thermal pastes out there. For the performance and the extras you get in the box, I think it’s one of the better value options on the market right now. Final Verdict: Corsair XTM70 punches above its weight. It delivers solid thermal performance, comes with helpful extras, and doesn’t break the bank. I replaced the thermal paste on my i9-9900K CPU with the Corsair XTM70 and it works great. I use an NZXT Kraken X52 AIO which together keeps the temps while gaming at an average of 67c. You must be patient when applying and spread it slowly.

I built my friend's rig about 3 years ago for data science applications. It had been chugging along productively until recently, when the temperature started moving up. We thought maybe the thermal paste had dried out and the quickest possible solution was to replace paste. I bought the Corsair - XTM70 Extreme Performance paste. After applying the paste, the temperature was back to acceptable levels! The rig has been running non-stop perfectly since!

Excellent thermal paste. WARNING‼️ it really is very thick and difficult to spread compared to other pastes. But, the stencil worked great after improvising with painters tape and spreading the paste directly on the CPU to prevent any excess from going anywhere it shouldn’t. I refused to waste any paste on the AIO’s massive copper plate (the stencil is huge compared to the CPU surface area. After finishing the build, my i9-14900KF stays cool, the temp idles at 30 degrees and I haven’t seen it go above 55 while installing all my software & running all my updates while exploring ASUS Armoury Crate and using Aura Sync, including the live wallpaper. I’ll post an update the performance / thermals after I’ve benchmarked the computer and played a few games. So far though it seems great.

This thermal paste is one of the best! I hough a refurbished LG gram and it was idling at 60 degrees and terribly thermal throttling when it reached 90 degrees. I opened it up and applied this paste and now my pc idles at 30 degrees! Does not thermal throttle anymore and games that ran at 25fps now run at 40-50 which is double the performance! Only downside is this issue is really expensive! But it's well worth it!

In comparing this to the TM-30 that is also sold at Best Buy the XTM70 thermal paste provided slightly better thermal performance with a similar paste application experience. I would recommend this for buyers who are looking for good thermal performance on higher end PCs. I would recommend for use with normal overclocking situations just know your setup and keep an eye on thermals under different loads.

I started to notice my CPU (9800X3D) go into the 70 c, so I decided to grab the best thermal paste in the market. Now my temps on idle/browsing is 36-40c, during intense loads or long gaming sessions it doesn’t go above 60c. Majority of the time it stays between 50-58. Would highly recommend! My AIO is a Lian Li Hydroshift LCD 360.

Works great haven't had any cooling issuesbwith this paste.

As a thermal paste its like peanut butter not really moist but thick and spread is easy to do. Just lay template on aio and just slap on there can fill a little if u feel too thin, keeps cpu at 40c

Not much to say here, my CPU is happy and cool 1 year later while playing the most demanding games. Will be buying corsair paste again in 10 years when it runs out, lol.

Great product. I was skeptical of buying this at first but I’m glad I did. Its kept my temps pretty low and I’ve been using it for several months now. I love that it comes with a template so I can get an even placement of the thermal paste. It comes with plenty so you can use it more than once.
