The Cuisinart -Metal 2- Slice Toaster is very easy to clean. It's not going to melt like my last toaster, it has several heating setting plus a start warming. I really like it can be recycled is no longer working. I feel it will last as long has our families toaster when growing up in the 50's and 60's. This is a great toaster! It is small so you don't have to worry about it taking up counter space. It has different settings that work great for different items to toast. It has wider slots as well, for other bread/food, instead of just toast. It also looks stylish!

The toaster has more features than I need. I am still learning all the features. It toasts bread nicely but not consistently depending on imoisture content of the bread. It is an attractive appliance and it fits nicely on my limited counter space.

Love the digital platform and cord hide spot. Excellence

The toaster is strong, sturdy, and works great. I was looking for something that would last for a long time and I think I got it.

What a piece of garbage. The big-time uneven toasting is ridiculous. I don't understand how such low quality is made and sold. See pics for proof.

Recently updated the kitchen to all stainless steel appliances, new counter tops, etc. Placed to old toaster (white) on the counter and it just looked out of place, not to mention it was stained and cracked from years of use. Time for a new toaster. Went to Best Buy and picked this model out. It looks great in the kitchen, has wide slots for bagels and some special modes for toasting and thawing. The only thing that could be better about this toast is the length of the slots. Most store bought breads and our bread maker bread slices fit perfectly... but there are those other loaves where the slices are just a bit too long to fit. So we just place them on end and toast most of the slice. If the toaster slots were just another inch longer, this toaster would be perfect. It has great range of adjustment and browns the bread/bagel /pop tart nicely. Wow! Who would have though you could write so much about a toaster?

This toaster has classic design, durability and reliability built in. I previously owned this model for more than 15 years with no issues, so I bought another one. The controls are easy to use and I appreciate the feature that doesn’t allow the toasting lever to be pushed down when it’s unplugged. Highly recommended!

Being an all-metal design (save for the base), this toaster has an old-school look to it. It nicely complements my stainless steel microwave. Toasting is even; however, the highest setting doesn't get toast done nearly as well as I like. I have to set the dial to about 3-1/2 and run it twice. (Note that I like toast *very* dark.) The crumb tray slides out easily and is easy to slide back in. Being all-metal, the upper area gets very hot to the touch. (I wonder if my unit is missing insulation.) I have measured the top at 128 degrees F, the upper sides at over 100 degrees, and the lower sides about 85 degrees. The base doesn't get very hot at all. One needs to be careful when plucking toast from the slots. I would not let younger children use this toaster unsupervised, if at all.

Classic toaster, makes even, nicely toasted bread and bagels. Easy operation with pre-sets for bagels, defrosting and reheating. Solid construction, fits easily on counter top.

Nice looking toaster. Fits on my shelf. Knobs and buttons work. It makes bread turn brown (or black if not set to correct setting). It's a toaster. Really what more can be said? The price was right because I had "points" to use. :)

The toaster works great. Toasts the same on both sides. Easy to set the brownness. Has settings for frozen waffles or bread. Also looks great, but does show fingerprints. Easy to clean though.

This is the best toaster. The slots are wide enough for bagels and baguette slices. Perfect browning, nice and crunchy toast! I have had many other toasters- this is the best. Looks great too!

A "Classic 2 Slice Toaster" is a fitting description. I like the simplistic design and smaller footprint of this toaster, by comparison with others that are available. The dial allows me to make toast that is 'just right'. The wider slots are perfect for breads that are hand-sliced and thicker than pre-sliced bread, whether homemade or purchased at the store. That was exactly what I was looking for when I purchased this toaster, and I am really enjoying using it!

I wanted a sleek, metal classic-design appliance. Most important, I wanted a good 2-slice, standard-sized which would fit on a small shelf in a small New York kitchen. The Cuisinart I purchased is stable. The timer is accurate. The 2 slots accommodate bagels. The defrost works perfectly. It makes great toast. The price is decent considering the excellence of the product. I'm very pleased & would not hesitate to recommend it.
