i been using this for a few days now and gotten really good results every time ,, but the best thing is the ease of cleaning the removable plates .. by just brushing it in a rinse,,, and then my batch of batter that i make normally is just the purfffect amount to fill a full plate to cook ... i swear that my life is so much easier and relaxing than making with my old smaller waffle maker or pancakes .. here's at tip for reading my review ,, use a small metal cup to put cold butter and place on top of it while heating up and coooooking ,, to melt ,, wayway better than puttin cold butta on your fresh coooked .. here's a 2nd tip ,, did you read and see the reviewer who stated there is no rubber tip on the back footing ,,, ha ,, he's right ,, cusinart should be ashame to not have it and be cheep ,,, so i use scotch tape on the back legs and then filled it with silicone pass the leg height and then use a razor to trim so the sharp plastic back legs donna get you ...

I waited along time to purchase this as I suck at making pancakes! It would have been a dream come true if the pancake plates were bigger or even it an additional plate came with an option to do 2 bigger pancakes or 1 big one. It still did the job though! Other than that it is good, haven’t tried to do waffles yet but it’s good for a morning breakfast!

I've owned a few other belgian waffle makers in the past. All work the same with pretty much the same performance, the others ive owned were the commercial ones which have slightly deeper plates which make a lighter taller waffle. Where those struggle is in cleaning the waffle maker. Thats where this one shines, the removable dishwasher safe wafle plates are amazing. To be honest its the main reason I bought this one and i absolutely love that feature. All waffle makers should incorporate that feature. If your looking for a waffle maker I recommend this model. I wish the manufacturer offered this model without the pancake plates for a cheaper price as they are really not needed.

This is my 1st waffle maker & I cringed at the price, even though it was on sale. I don't spend over $100 on any kitchen gadget but this one has proven it's totally worth it. The BIG DEAL is that the waffle plates are removeable! That makes clean up so dang easy! Plus it comes with pancake plates which work great too! Once you mix up your batter, (Belgian waffle batter's best) you turn the unit on, set the temp & wait for a beep saying it's ready. Be careful not to over-pour batter on the plates. Leave about 1 inch of space for the batter to expand out to the edges. I've over-poured a couple times & it's slightly messy. The maker will beep when the waffles are done. Again, it's more of an art than science to get the waffles to the doneness you want. If they're not cooked enough, put the lid down for a few more minutes. The one CAUTION I'd give you is watch out for the hinge area. It's as hot as the plates. I accidentally touched it to move the unit & learned how hot it was. Won't be doing that again. Overall, this is the best waffle maker for the money that BestBuy sells. It's not the most expensive one but has the best features & is caveman simple.

Quality seems great, and intuitive use. LOVE that the plates come out & can be put in the dishwasher! WAY easier cleaning than scrubbing. -1 Star because it seems that if you wait for the audible beep, waffles may come out a little on the crispier side. Takes a little getting used to for the timing.

Makes great waffles and pancakes. Love the ease of cleaning unit. The plates get clean in the dishwasher safe. Easy to get the food with the non stick plates.

This waffle iron consistently makes nice crisp golden brown waffles. The removable plates are easy to clean and it can be stored on end to conserve space.

Does what I expect it to. Having the included pancake plates was the main reason for choosing this model. It works great. The fact that I can now make pancakes and waffles that are consistently edible without having to get the wife to do it speaks volumes. The non-stick plates are exactly that. I don't even clean the thing half of the time... just wipe it with a paper towel and shove it back in the drawer when I'm done.

Works well, but the rear feet are not padded and can scratch your counter. Cuisinart told me that , "The unit only comes equipped with two rubber feet; the other two are not missing."

The easiest waffle maker I have ever used. You get 4 Belgium waffles. The timer helps to make perfect waffles each time.

I bought this for the plates being easily removed for cleaning. The non-stick works so well that it doesn’t need the level of cleaning previous waffle makers needed. I was a little surprised that cooking on a 3 (when the dial goes to 6) made the initial waffle over cooked. Now I go lower on the first waffle and crank it up for subsequent waffles. Mine haven’t been crispy yet but perhaps that is due to the batter I have been using. If I hadn’t had so many rewards points, I am not too sure it would have been worth the price.

Removable plates are great for cleaning. like the optional plates for pancakes too. Warm-up time is perfect for mixing batter. And cook time is perfect for cleaning up. Makes perfect waffles

I have not had this long but here's what I know... It makes excellent Waffles, the temp dial works and there's a tone when it's ready and when the waffle is done. Perfect. So far No run overs. I haven't used the other plates as of yet. The not so great is they still aren't putting rubber pads on the real legs.

Love this waffle maker. Love the removable plates, and the option to make pancakes or waffles.

I have used the waffle maker to make waffles and pancakes, and they both turned out great. I made a batch of each and froze them for later. The waffles were fluffy and thick as Belgian waffles should be. The instructions suggest setting #4, but I used #3 and both came out done and not overly dark. I don’t need to use the griddle anymore.

Bought this for the chef of the family... a self-serving present for us both. Love the REMOVABLE and flip over grates, and it heats and cooks twice as fast as the old one we still have. Bought it on a Deal of the Day, and used some points too; so it was like under $5 after all that. I also got free shipping!

Not the largest waffle maker we’ve had but really like that the plates come off for easy cleaning. Timer and multiple settings help get to the preferred brownness. The griddle plates are a bonus.
