A: Very small, have to look for it.
Q: Does the set come in a gold color.
A: I don't believe so.
Q: Are they dishwasher safe, will they spot?
A: I think this is more dishwasher dependent than flatware dependent. With a dishwasher in good repair with a reasonable drying cycle, using a rinse agent, the flatware we own does not spot.
A: Chromium is on of the elements added to steel to make it stainless. It can not separate out will cause no harm. It is likely listed just to comply with CA law. They require listing if it is part of manufacturing and it is simple part of the steel itself.
A: says Vietnam on the box
Q: If this didn't have "Cuisinart Elite" printed on the knives, I would have purchased three sets.
A: Really, why does that bother you. Now that's a question Duh!!
Q: Are these made from 18/10 stainless steel?
A: No - They are 18/0 (18% chromoium, 0% nickel, 82% steel). It does not say anything on the packaging or literature, so I sent an inquity to Quisinart customer service for this answer.
