A: The manufacturer pamphlet says" This mandoline is built of quality stainless steel and is designed for low maintenance and long product life.. it is dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand-washing to prolong the life of the mandoline even further. " Hope this helps. I wouldn't have issues with putting it on the top rack of the dishwasher. Usually do a once or twice trial run and see how my new products fair. I have found with products that contain plastic or rubber that have not been created to use as a heat resistant item...are not best suited for the dishwasher. Not all plastics are created equal! A: Yes. 1/8", 1/4", & 3/8" setting on the dial
A: maybe a hard salami , but I would not recommend for meat.
