I bought this Mic as a temporary appliance while my cabinets are being redesigned to accommodate an above-the-range model. The counter footprint is very small, which I love. Although only 700 watts, it is more than adequate to heat up a meal or a sandwich, soups, even small side dishes. You can't nuke a 20# turkey, obviously. But for general use, it is ideal as far as countertop models go. The only "con" per say, and it is minor, is it lacks a 30 second or "added time" button. And - oh yeah - the popcorn button will burn the heck out of any brand of popcorn made. Otherwise, it's great.

I rated it four stars. No idea if that's correct. When listing an item as 'compact' one would hope those providing details are intelligent. The HEIGHT should be a top to bottom measurement. This is correct. The WIDTH is a left to right. The DEPTH is a front to back. Basic. The specs on this are wrong. The fools putting up the specs have depth and width reversed. Time wasted, money wasted. Will need to return. Thanks Best Buy for showing me I should have gone with Amazon.

We appreciate your concern and wanted to let you know that, as you pointed out, there was a mistake in the product dimensions listed for this microwave. The specifications listed the depth as 19 1/2 inches and width as 13 9/10 inches, where in fact the depth is 13 9/10 inches and width is 19 1/2 inches. We have since corrected the error with the product dimensions and sincerely apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. We hold ourselves to higher standards than this and want to make sure we meet the expectations created by our product dimensions in the future.
