Is it really true that using an extension cord or plug strip voids the warranty? If true, this is a show-stopper. What about all the little power supplies for modem, router, external hard drives, USB hubs, monitors, etc. physically won't reach the UPS?

I have a home backup generator. Will I have any voltage issue if it runs at possibly 63 cycles as opposed to the standard 60 cycles?
Answered by TechSupportHello Bucko, We generally will not recommend these units with a generator unless it is an inverter generator because our units will detect fluctuating cycles as bad power. If the 63 cycles were a solid, constant 63 cycles, there would be no issue but most generators will output fluctuating frequencies. Thank you for submitting your question!
