I needed a reasonably priced UPS to go in the rack for my home theater PC. I was concerned that the AC output would create audio noise but there is no measurable change from being connected directly. The display is useful and it is helpful that it goes off after a time. The option to disable the alarm for a home system is great, why do I need to be beeped at to tell me the power has failed.... Very pleased
