Hello, this is a line interactive, pure sinewave UPS. While operating in battery mode it will deliver pure sinewave power to the outputs. While operating in Line Mode, it will output whatever it is put in to it., it has an automated voltage regular to handle brownouts, surges and other voltage related events, but the unit is not equipped to deal with issues with the source waveform, such the dirty output of generator power. This model was designed to receive power from the utility grid and does not support generator use. Please look into double-conversion models of UPS for handline waveform issues.
