I have already experienced some brown-outs that this product got me through with no damage to equipment or data. I have a Sabrent external hard drive/memory device that had an old 1TB hard drive from an old HP desktop that died, and this old hard drive finally died from power black-outs/brown outs when my old CyberPower - Standby 450 VA desktop was fatally damaged from a near-by lightning strike that also took out an old TV. I am using the Sabrent for an old memory card that I had around and the CyberPower 550 is protecting both the Sabrent device and the memory storage card.

Had one of these before and loved it so I purchased another one!

I always depend on Cyberpower, they are great products at a good price.

After doing my research, i needed something to protect my modem and give me a little peace of mind for backup since I now work from home.

Good equipment to work with, I am an IT guy and I always use bestbuy for my customers, easy to but easy to setup

This is a good smaller unit to easily hide under cabinets or desks, and protect your equipment at the same time.

Great UPS for the price. Works great. USB connection to PC allows auto shutdown.

I bought and installed this back up from CyberPower over a year ago. I live in a farm house in the middle of the country where lightning strikes and power outages occur frequently in summer and winter. From 10 below zero to 99 degrees it works fine for me. This powerful and efficient back up system has never failed me. If it can do the job here - it should do the job for you. I have two laptop computers, 3 printers, a DSL modem and Dell 19" monitor plugged into it.

overall this product is great it backs up my 20 in. imac with no problem. no setup required dont need to install the software. just plug it in and thats it overall great product definitely buy it

We have used APC's for years at our office & home but no longer. Those stop working in 12 to 15 months! The CyberPower ones operate at least 24 to 30 months - twice as long for the same price. Also, APC ones seem to short out for some reason. We have over 20 backup power supplies in use today, including our TV and audio equipment at home.
