First off I did my homework and compared many different types of this product from different places and frankly most seemed cheap except this one. I am so happy I went with my instincts there. I’ve tested it by bringing it to a few bonfires with friends and we were all very impressed. The arc lighter (primary reason for purchase) set quarter inch sticks on fire in seconds. It was able to set small sections of log on fire too but works better for the small stuff. It’s battery powered and water proof (based on the sealing though just for brief submersion and rain). Flashlight is brighter than a flagship smartphone, but more dim than other high powered flashlights. Battery life seems great as I’ve only needed to charge once so far and used it 4 or 5 evenings.(no charge indicator sadly) All in all I would highly recommend this for a rechargeable lighter/flashlight combo. I imagine it will be great with a portable battery for longer adventures!

The light is bright, and the lighter would be good for smoking but it does not give out a high flame like regular lighters. I bought my "DarkEnergy" on the Deal of the Day sale price but I wouldn't of bought it for full price. My Husband did try to get it from me due to the cool light and lighter and how it looks rugged in a way. I would recommend it if it is on sale.

Easy to start a fire with it. The protective case fits well in a pocket. The battery charge lasts a long time. The integrated flashlight is very bright. This is a good product.

Bright light and powerful lighter in a small and convenient easily rechargeable package.

Very good lighter with some short falls. The lighter prongs don't go high enough and the cap covering the prongs gets in the way. The flashlight works fine and overall I'm happy but the prongs need to be higher and the cap needs to be totally removed to light some items.

It is certainly cool, pretty basic in the design and material feel. Slightly smaller than I imagined it honestly, and the actual Arc itself is quite small just a little corner of the top. Possibly a bit of a letdown, the flashlight is also cool and it seems like it will be waterproof and it's not a major fail.

This is a really cool plasma lighter, which also includes a small flashlight. I got this for my backpack in order to have a lighter that would work in virtually all conditions (wet, windy, etc.). It's compact and includes the flashlight which is quite useful. It's also rechargeable via USB, meaning you can plug it in when you are at home or into a solar charger when you're not. Great little piece of equipment for all outdoor activities.

Nice compact unit and works as advertised. Great fire starter and a handy flashlight. Works as well as any plasma lighter does, super convenient where a conventional lighter or matches won't work. Flashlight is a convenience feature, while not super bright, it throws plenty of light to guide your way in the dark. Weather sealed and for the price, a great value in my opinion.

This has been better than I thought. Used it several times in heavy rain with steady wind. Its definitely served its purpose so far. I’m considering purchasing a second for my emergency bag. The flash light is a cute feature but I haven’t used it much.
This lighter is very cool. I like that it is rechargeable and does not run on disposable batteries or fuel. I do not understand the need for the flashlight and I’ll never use it but it’s there if I need it

Works great. The lighter part is hidden underneath the end cap and provides an easy fire source. The flashlight is enough to let you see around you but it's worth buying a dedicated flashlight if you need one. The rechargeable battery holds a charge pretty well.

This is great. A flashlight on one end and a lighter on the other end. Comes in handy if you are out camping and need to start a fire. Will light up the small wood pieces and paper only.
