I loved the first 2 Dead Space games in the same sense that I loved Bioshock 1 and 2. The 2nd added enough upgrades in graphics, story, weapons, etc., but the first will always be best because of the originality. Dead Space 3 added allot to the series with better graphics, a brand new upgrade system, and a whole new environment. However, 3 doesn't have the same claustrophobic feel that the first 2 had and the story, although a good one, doesn't add enough to surpass its predecessors and give a grand ending to the trilogy. I'm sure they will make Dead Space 4 for PS4 so a true ending wasn't entirely necessary though. If you liked the first 2, you will also enjoy 3. The weapons, aiming, creepy story and enemies, and all other features Dead Space games are known for are all here.

Very enjoyable... Not too much thinking needed. Follows 1 and 2 well. Graphics and sound is good. Good survival.

I love this game kind of scary but great action good story you have to play this

The story line is Good. The graphics and sound are good. I could not get the hang of weapons upgrade and therfore do not like it too much. I don't need that much in depth of building my own weapon. I just want to play.

If you played the first and second installments in the Dead Space series and enjoyed them then your going to enjoy this one. The horror is back (I guess it never left) and the story of the marker is continued. A new weapon system is introduced in which you build and customize your weapon on the bench with components you have collected along the way. The graphics are ridiculous and together with the sound and story ... well ... the horror is back. Highly recommended!

I’ve played this series from the start. I absolutely loved the original; it’s one of the best games in the PS3 library. The third one is good; I really liked it, not as much as the first. It doesn’t have that same horror feel to it, it’s much more action oriented. Play in the hardest modes to challenge yourself. I’d give it five stars…but this game is sort of glitchy. It easy to lose a bot, check out the gamer messenger boards about it.

All of the great story continued from the first two but if you pick this one up you won't feel left out of the storyline because it is very new and it does a quick recap to catch you up and it will probably only make you want to play the first two once you finish this one, great games still... but they will allow you to appreciate the ever improving controls when it comes to movement.

Dead Space 3 is a great game - love all the Dead Space games - was pre-owned so it was also a great price

I really like the Dead Space games. I usually don't like 3rd person shooting games,but I really enjoy the Dead Space series. The controls are smooth and the graphics are really good. Over all it was an excellent game.

Dead space was good until this game.... They got rid of the horror and made an action game.... that was the series that took over from resident evil but now this series has died to.... Hope they add more horror to 4

Great action super graphics audio is great awesume

Although I got this game as a pre-owned and I did have my doubts about the quality of the disk it was worth it at the end. If you really want to get this game and you don't have the money to get one in new condition then i really recommend getting a pre-owned as I did.

A technically impressive all-out action blaster. It bombards you with hordes of enemies. A must have if your a Dead Space fan.

this game was a great follow up to the dead space 2. super great storyline. a good heart stopper but never ending action. just when you think you're safe something jumps out.

I have played this game since the beginning and the story has always been my favorite part of the game. The game play is a little above average, but it's not the best.

A BLOOD AND GORE GAME DEFINITELY NOT FOR MINORS. A MUST HAVE FOR FANS OF SCIFI VIDEO GAMES THE GRAPHICS ARE ALSO GREAT AS WELL AS THE SOUND.

As good as the dead space one if not better excellent storyline even though the bench can be confusing

If you still haven't played the 1st two games my recommendation is you should otherwise you won't know what the hell is going on. The scares never get old because you really don't know what to expect. This game will definitely keep you on your toes. The new game play mechanics and cooperative play add some freshness to an already enjoyable game.
